Re: CA:New law to prevent secret recordings of conversations with Planned Parenthood

California is a de facto fascist state. All of its many charms are just window dressing. Every time I go back there to visit family, I feel like I've entered a third world nation......a replica of Mexico. And not because of the number of Latinos.... but because it has that same feeling that you do ...

Re: Another Meme Thread

Up until a March last year I lived in Nevada, and especially in the neighboring town of Pahrump, the red light on the door did not signify "not armed". A customer of mine had lived in LA all his life. At age 78, he announced he was building a house in and moving to Pahrump, NV. I called h...

Re: 5th Amendment - help please

On the other hand if you publically assert your 5th amendment rights, then you should be willing to say why when seeking public office. Hillary would have been more correct to assert her rights before Congress than to perjure herself by lying...but she wanted to lie and claim she was telling the tr...

That money talks
I can't deny.

I heard it once.
It said, "Goodbye!"

I think the kid lucked out. The only thing worse than psychiatrists are the education mafia. Psychiatrists drive me crazy! What about psychologists? In a few years do I get to drive you crazy too? I dunno. I can't recall ever dealing with any. I think there were a couple in an office building my in...

How to Play Baseball Like Tim Tebow

Many of us would like to take ten years off and get $100,000 to play like Tim Tebow.

So, here ya go!

Re: NJ: Student does a school project supporting gun rights and is Suspended

Unless it is child porn, or classified information, it's not criminal. Even if it is an op plan to blow up the school, mere possession of that is not a crime, unless an act in furtherance of a plan is shown.

It is none of their business.

Re: Anybody own a Sig P226 in 9mm?

Oh I'm not buying the gun just to save money I'm buying it cuz it's amazing and feeeeeeelllls so good in the band and love the way it handles! I'll be picking one up in a week or two and I seriously can't wait! I had doubts when I got mine. It didn't have a manual safety and it's BIG (at least for ...

Re: Trump vs. Clinton Round 1

Ok, well just in case there's an interest in reasoning about the hand signal conspiracy, see http://www.snopes.com/debate-secret-hand-signals/ :banghead: That is hardly a convincing refutation of the original premise by Snopes. Whether it is actually true or not, we'll never know as the people invo...

Re: Suspect in deadly crime spree deported at least three times

I am married to a legal immigrant, and mighty happy about that, but the immigration mess that has resulted from not enforcing laws on the books while Congress ignores it doesn't make a lick of sense. I don't know where the idea came from that any person, anywhere in the world, has a right to be here...

Re: Wife of man killed by police in Charlotte had filed protective order

None of the circumstances described in that article matter unless the police officer who did the shooting has a supportable claim of self defense. If it is a good shoot, then all those facts and circumstances can be added on. If not, then none of that justifies what becomes a defenseless killing, ma...

Re: Anybody own a Sig P226 in 9mm?

I had one for ~10 years, a 226 Navy. I figured if it was good enough for SAS and SEALS, it would be good enough for me. It was.

What can I tell you?
