Re: "Advanced" LTC legislation opinions

Interesting responses so far. A question from one of my follow-ups... Do you think businesses that post 30.06/07 signs don't trust that LTC holders are adequately trained and qualified (meaning, they don't start shaking in their boots when a LEO walks in) or are they just trying to make a political...

Re: Will OC Backlash Result in more 30.06 Signs ???

The OC ''backlash,' if you want to call it that, will result in more 30.06 signs. Part of this is due to the public becoming more aware of CC/OC. I attended my PD's Open Carry forum last week and my police chief, who supports CC/OC provided a balanced forum. Part of his agenda was to educate busines...

My first Open Carry experience...

Let me tell you, it was a great feeling to be able to open carry! It was similar to the first time I carried concealed. I was very cognizant of my firearm and of everyone else around me. I think I even 'walked' different. I was careful to check the signage on the doors of The Stripes gas station in ...

Yes, this basic premise is applicable to most conversations where one is not willing to listen to the other.

Re: "The" Rog got a Benelli M2

I'm surprised that Elm Fork would allow him to use a tactical type shotgun. Chris, this particular model is Benelli's 12 gauge "Field shotgun." They make it with several barrel lengths and many guys shooting 3-gun choose the 21" model because of its' nimble and versitle nature. I lov...

Re: "The" Rog got a Benelli M2

I felt my ears burning. It looks like the shoot is going to be a lot of fun. As an early b-day gift, my wife is paying for me to take a competitive pistol II course with Gordon Carrell next weekend in Collin County so I will not be able to participate. But hopefully, we can do this type of shoot on ...
