Re: It's time to tighten our chin straps

Obama and Biden have been getting regular letters from me for a while now.

The local rally idea may be a good one. Somewhat of a tea party type rally may help promote the cause. Thanks

It's time to tighten our chin straps

Based on the latest news and actions of our self appointed dictator in chief and his chief jester, I think it's time to tighten our chin straps and get ready to do all we can to battle to maintain our rights. Unfortunately, I am not sure what all I should be doing in order to do my part. Here's what I've done so far and plan to continue to do.

Member of NRA
Contacting State and National Representatives weekly
Promoting the facts and positives of gun ownership and practical self defense through social media
Giving extra money as I can to NRA and represenatives campaigns
Promoting the virtues of the 2nd Amendment as I can to whomever listens and opens the door to the discussion
Educating my family and friends on the need for the preservation of our rights as citizens
Encouraging family and friends to avoid the trap of socialism for which we are headed and that we need to remain vigilant in order to remain free
Stressing the need to base our decisions on facts and logic rather than following emotions

Unfortunately, I feel like I am preaching to the choir and not doing enough. What else should I be doing?
