It smells like money! We've been going to Riverbend RV Park for about 5 years now and we love it there so it looks like you'll have some new neighbors come March!srothstein wrote:Welcome, though I can almost honestly question the sanity of anyone wanting to move to Luling.papajohn1964 wrote:Yep right down the street. Jay if you google bexar community shooting range and the click on the clay targets online it will give you their hours.

Re: My Pistol Packin Mama
Yep open to the public. They have several skeet/trap ranges and rifle and pistol range. Everyone calls their own cease fire, you can set your target to any distance you want, you can keep your brass too! Very nice range IMHO.
I10 east exit Trainer Hale and turn right, about 2 miles down on the left. I think it's $12 per person as many guns as you want.

Re: My Pistol Packin Mama
I will stop by Bracken every once in awhile. We prefer Bexar Community range off of Trainer Hale though. They use B27's and allow you to put stick ons on them. They also allow you to draw from your holster and rapid fire if they aren't too busy.

Re: My Pistol Packin Mama
It's a B27E. It's about 10" shorter than the B27, it's cut off just below the bottom of the 7.

Re: My Pistol Packin Mama
Obviously she didn't! There is a LOT of scoring area cut off. If you look at the bottom of hers there are a lot of holes that would have been on target so I'm not sure how they can use these for qualification.MasterOfNone wrote:Mom's got skills.
BTW, did anyone have an issue with the use of the sawed-off version of the B27?

Re: My Pistol Packin Mama
Considering she had never shot a gun until about 3 months ago I say she did very well.

My Pistol Packin Mama
She took her CHL today and this is her target. I believe it's a 249! She always hated my Glock 26 so we got her a Kahr CM9. After she got comfortable shooting that she asked to shoot the Glock again and now she's in love with it. I guess we'll be heading to Drurys soon for another one! God I love that smile!
