Okay so after some time working on the phone. It's the board. There can be a few problems. Possibly the coils, the blacklight chip or backlight filters. Trying to find a video is not too easy to locate. Going to have to replace a part.

Well dang, I was hoping if I completely field strip #1 it could possibly fix it, but the screen is still dim. I am sure you're right that it being a short somewhere with the black light,or ambient sensor.
I'll keep trying to find out ways to fix it.

For #1 my wifes say try the front camera it holds the ambient light sensors. Edited to add that after camera replacement if still won't change then to master reset if that don't work then probably the board and that's were her skills end. I'll give that a try. Thank you. Get a straw about the same size and cut it to the size of a cigarette. Just breathe through that and it will help. I did it especially when I would drive and smoke.
