Re: Sig Sauer P938 malfunction help

My father-in-law just had the same issue. If you take the left side grip off, you will see a rectangle shaped bar that travels up and down when the slide is pulled back. I believe it is called the Disconnector. That bar is very tight in it's channel. If it is dry, it will bind up and cause what you ...

Re: 1st encounter with CHL

Glad it went smooth for you. I've been stopped twice by RRPD and each time they were very professional. Warning both times for minor infractions. This was prior to my CHL. Haven't had any LEO contact since I got almost 5 years ago now.

Re: Marcus Luttrell at Majestic in Dallas

Took my son (17 yrs old and already enlisted in the Army on the delayed entry program) to see Marcus speak at the Patriot Tour in Austin Friday night. What a great bunch of Americans. The stories are all real and from the heart. If any has a chance to go it is something not to be missed. God bless A...

Re: Great deal on tactical flashlights

CHLLADY is correct, these are awesome flashlights. I bought 3 packs about 2 months ago and they are durable and bright. CRE LED's, which are the best on the market in my opinion. Waterproof works great too, dropped one in a bucket of water by mistake and not a drop got inside. Use 1 at work on a dai...

Re: whole foods

If the LEO happen to be working security there, does that in turn mean he was given verbal notice from the business and can not carry inside?

Re: What would you say to a repair guy if you saw his gun

In my home I would have to ask to see his/her CHL. As long as they can provide it to me there would not be an issue. I don't know them and would not assume they mean me no harm just because they are in a service position. If they refused to show me a CHL then I would ask them to leave and notify the...

Re: medium frame adult concealing full size weapon?

I'm 5' 11", 175 lb. and carry a Glock 19 with everything from jeans and a t-shirt to a suit. Spend the money and get a good belt and holster. That's the key. You won't regret it. Just curious what brand of holster and mag pouch you use? Just ordered a Gen 4 G19 last week and I'm curious about ...

Great Self Defense Pistol Training

I took a course with instructor Kenan Flasowski of F.A.S.T. Inc (http://www.fast762.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) this past weekend. I spent 6 years in the Army as a combat infantryman and served a tour in the Middle East during Desert Shield/Desert Storm. I am famila...

Re: Bersa BP9CC thoughts?

For what it's worth: I have had mine a few weeks. I've shot about 300 rounds through it. the only FTE's that I had were when my wife shot it and I believe it was her weak grip that caused it. I've shot rounds from hardball to JHP and +P with no issues myself. Sites are good but I will have night sit...

Re: Walking the Walk

I use to notice all that when I first started carrying, now I realize that no one else pays attention to that stuff. I make it a daily habit to wear my gun. As the advise goes, "Put it on, leave it alone and forget about it." My belief is that sometimes you just can't help showing some sig...

Re: Small carry gun Shield, LC 9, or a small Sig

Just picked up a P938 this weekend. Took it to the range Saturday and put about 200 rounds through it. 115 and 124 grain, both ball and JHP rounds with no issues. Bought it for the Mrs. and she loved it. She has small hands and a weak grip in her left hand but she shot it with no problem. I think it...
