Re: Renewals

Looks like mine is processed. I now have options to change my address, contact info and or report as lost/stolen on the right side of the status page as of yesterday. Just letting everyone know that may be wondering also. I did the online renewal a couple of days after Christmas 12-27, it said they ...

Is this still available for sale? When the 9 kit is removed does it revert back to DA/SA Var 1? If so I'm interested.

Re: Renewals

So far I've received every renewal letter they've sent me. I usually throw them away because in the back of my mind I already know it's due. Usually I had already signed up for my renewal class around the time I received the letter. This year I procrastinated until the last 90 days after hearing I d...

Renewals

Looks like this is easy. Did it all from my phone about 2 weeks ago. Showed it would use existing prints and photos. Anyone had any issues? Is the time about 4-6 weeks? I did it end of December after Christmas. Had a license since 96 this was a piece of cake.

Re: Easy Renewal's Now

No, I have a TX drivers license (CDL). Maybe they are comparing the address or something I don't know. I did not look at the exact # of the form I just assumed it was still TR100, it should the 100.

Well at least playing games while carrying a loaded gun did not lead to an accidental discharge and killing someone or their child.

Easy Renewal's Now

I did not renew on time a back in 2000 because of a busy schedule (working out of town) and all that you had to do. I let my CHL lapse and had to start all over. Well I received the dreaded letter a few months ago time for renewal. Called the instructor yesterday and he told me to fill the paperwork...

In 58 years they have not had an incident. I'll take my chances there. If they get past the security gate and climb over a few mountains to get to me, my time on earth was up and I will gladly go.

Re: Glorietta NM

I just got back last Sunday. Take a jacket. I did not carry mine as I took a group of kids in a bus. I did see where their rules stated no weapons. Leaving it in your car should not be a problem. That is the last place on earth where you would need a weapon this day and time. You may want it with yo...

Re: Bought my first Can Yesterday

Sorry it has taken me so long to reply to everyone, took my 8 year old daughter camping this weekend. Poor snipe, LOL. I did not go with the trust. When I am going to purchase an expensive FA weapon I would probably do that. But since no problems with my CLEO signing I did not see the need and the t...

Re: AR-15 powder recommendation

If ease of metering is also a concern BLC2, 2230, 2460 all meter the best that I have found. However, I use Varget and RL15 for my competition loads but have to spend a lot of time metering the large stick powder. I use Varget and RL15 because they are less temperature sensitive since I am loading o...

Bought my first Can Yesterday

I have been wanting one since I started walking or so it seems. I decide to do a 22lr since I have a pistol already threaded and my 8 year old daughter loves to shoot it. Called a local dealer and went by to check them out he had many to choose from and we shot them all so I could compare. I chose a...

Re: December applications

My wife received her license yesterday on her birthday. So I did not have to get her anything - just kidding - that would not have gone over well. Thought that was pretty cool though came in the mail on Texas Independence Day which also happened to be her Birthday.

Re: December applications

My wife's is issued. They sent back one of her pics because it was not signed, I must have put the signed one in the passport holder. Rather than switching them out they sent the one that was paper clipped to the application back. But who knows they probably send them to different departments for pr...
