Re: Tips for IWB comfort?
I use a Barsony IWB holster for my XDs45 in the waste band or behind the belt. Behind the belt with an undershirt and a cover shirt is very comfortable. I also have on order a Remora Tuckable IWB holster. The video makes it look pretty good. https://www.remoraholsterstore.com/product/remora-iwb-tuck...

Re: Who else!??
I bought the Alien Gear 3.0 and tried it out for about a week and just could not find a comfortable position for it. I used it with an XDs45. I don't think I could ever find a comfortable IWB holster after this experience. I either pocket carry in a Crimson Trace holster, carry OWB or carry in a Sne...

Re: When your SO has a different view...
Five years ago my wife and I got a dog. The only time we had to walk him was in the late evening or at night. We discussed buying a handgun for protection. I told her that I would need to get a CHL. Bought a Beretta Nano and took the course. From then on I conceal carried every where it was legal to...

Re: A Ham Radio Sub-Forum?
I have had my Amateur Radio License since 1959. Currently have the Advanced class. If you value anonymity then don't list your call letters. Type your call letters in Google and see what comes up. I think you will be surprised how much stuff is there. Your address and location can be accessed. No pr...

I pocket carry the XDs45 and highly recommend it. A 9mm goes in the night stand and of course an LCP for the wife who also has an LTC.

Re: My Wait Is Almost OVER!
My wife's class was 4/5. Her plastic came 5/23, 48 calendar days. Nothing was done to speed up the process. Just luck of the draw I guess.

Re: What is meant by status change?
When you said that you received your "all in" status did that mean that they received your application, electronic fingerprints, and CHL-100? Or was it like this that my wife received? "This email confirms you have submitted an online application. See below for the checklist of items...

Re: Paper Targets
I really enjoy making my own splatter targets. I start with poster board either white or yellow. I lay strips of clear packing tape over the board. I then cut in 4 pieces and spray with flat black. Then I put the target spots on that I got from Academy. Cost per target is less than 30 cents for the ...
