Hmm didn't this guy who went on the shooting rampage use an AK-47, and not a concealed pistol? Surely had he walked into the courthouse with that to a divorce proceeding someone would have noticed. Also wasn't the man who interveened and got killed a CHL holder, and is credited with saving the youn...

Reason for no-guns policy

I think you will find that most gun show promoters have general liability policies that require a no loaded guns policy inside their gun shows. The show that TSRA promotes in Mesquite has the same policy, not because we want to, but because we would have to do the show "bare" of insurance ...

I still wonder if mine wasn't a record

I got my CHL after I started working for TSRA. I received my license in the mail 25 days after I MAILED it...

Of course, my employer was listed as Texas State Rifle Association, and my title was on there too. Surely, that didn't make a difference?
