Re: Kaufman Co. DA and Wife killed today.

I recently watched a nat geo documentary on the Aryan Brotherhood. Those guys are drug peddlers. All the white power, swastikas, etc. is a tool to get disenfranchised whites to join their gang (which is largely run from prison). Those guys are bad news when it comes time to kill someone though. Know...

Would definitely have to take my day in the court on that one and let him have the gun. Especially if i called in the first place. You gotta know they are there to help you file a report and get things squared away, so work with em a little. I seriously doubt he would confiscate the gun.

Re: Urban wildlife protection. Bobcats among us...

I live in Duncanville and we see coyotes all the time and have seen bobcats around. I feel bad for the ignorant folks that put out missing cat signs in our neighborhood.

Re: firearm facts the ar15

Is 5.56 more expensive now per round than full size cartridges or other intermediate cartridges?

Re: firearm facts the ar15

I still dont think anyone has hit on the real reason they're so popular: they are excellent guns. They're a very stable and fairly light shooting platform. They're accurate. They are easy to clean. They're highly customizable for just about any application. 5.56 is cheap and has low recoil (for recr...

Im a 22 year old college student. I love me some Battlefield 3 for wind down time after classes get out. Gotta say, its a pretty cool experience when you get dropped in with a group of guys you dont even know and work feverishly, whatever the job may be ( healing players, repairing vehicles, taking...

Re: lost my front site...kinda

Happened on my shield too. Acrylic paint did the trick. I think it actually came out brighter than the original paint.

Double stack, DA/SA, .45

Im in love with the FNX .45 right now. If anyone has one and would like to share your opinion, or if you have another DA/SA .45 you like, i would really appreciate it!

Re: M&P Shield Holster

I carry my shield in a comptac C-tac. The only downside is that since I have a little extra around my sides, when I sit (if it's a little off) it kind of digs in a little. Stays cool though and definitely one of the thinnest options available.

R-15 Chambering

Hi guys,

Dad just bought a SWEET Remington R-15 VTR SS the other day. I can't find a definitive answer for him as to whether or not it's chambered in .223, or a hybrid chamber. He's planning on shooting .223 in the field, but for plinkers I'm not sure what to tell him. Any advice is appreciated!

Re: New to CHL and new to the forum.

Even at that, its incredible what people don't notice if they aren't paying attention. I holstered up right next to a friend of mine in my truck and he didn't notice. Stood talking to friends holding a fully loaded extra mag in my hand, and they don't notice. Took off my CTAC in front of friends and...
