Re: "Waiting Room" is there room for one more?

Call me impatient, but I did all the online stuff in Jan. took the class in Feb. they updated the site in March and mailed the end of April. Now I'm wearing a hole in the path to my mail box. I could not help but laugh when I read how many times folks checked their status, I thought it was only me....

Re: Background Check-How Long?

They got all my stuff March 1. Nothing was happening, then last week they started BG check, after reading all these posts, I'm thinking my 8 year old grandson will be finished with high school by the time I get my plastic :totap:

Kahr PM40 ? The good and bad please

I will be taking my CHL on the 23rd and need to get a semi auto for the range test. I have had a 38sp for about 30 years. I need something that will be small enough to conceal, I am not crazy for the 380, I was looking at a Kahr PM40, and would love your feedback :bigear: thanks Cynthia

I love reading your concerns about carrying, I thought it was just a girl thing. I thought guys were just born comfortable with carrying.

Re: Gun Shell Split ???

The gun is an old ( belonged to my Dad, and I am 54) S&W 38 with a long barrel. I did notice on the side of this gun, there's a stamp saying "converted by Cogswell & Harrison Ltd London " I do not know what that means. I was shooting Speer Gold Dot 38 spl+p 125 grain. I am not sure...

Re: Gun Shell Split ???

I did keep all the shells, about half of them had a bulge in the cases. Is there anyway to find out how old bullets are ?

Gun Shell Split ???

I was at the range yesterday and had trouble getting one of the shell casing out of a revolver, I had to use a cleaning tool to poke it out of the cylinder, the case had split !?!? This was a Speer Gold Dot 125 grain 38sp bullet. What on earth happened? It kinda freaked me out, I have never seen any...

Re: FlashBang Holster

I too have a Flashbang and also find it a bit uncomfortable, I carry a 38sp, S&W air weight Bodygaurd, I do like my ankle holster, but I'm trying different holsters. It kinda depends on what I am wearing as to which holster I use.

Hi to all. I am a 54 year old lady, been married 2 years, x-biker with two grandsons. I've finished my paperwork for my CHL, I've got my fingerprint appointment and a date for my CHL class.
