Re: Uncomfortable carrying

How long have you been wearing that setup? I was wearing my setups around the house weeks before I got my plastic. As others here have stated, a size or 2 up in the waist, a good belt, different location, you should be ok? I have similiar setup (Theis holster/G19), after a couple weeks, barely notic...

Re: Past Indiscretions

My boss and I were talking a few years ago about some issues I was having with my son and 2 stepsons, he told me something that I will never forget, simple, but oh so true.... "everything you do matters".....think about it, it can be a good thing, or not so good thing...Kel

Re: Interesting help ticket entered at texas3006.com

I guess texas3006.com has reached a new high! Just had an interesting helpdesk ticket entered: Tue, Feb 5 2013 3:07pm My company is wanting information on getting the 30.06 sign I laughed, and then ended up responding with this: Hello, This website documents locations that post 30.06 signs for the ...

Re: Walking the Walk

I don't "look" for others who carry. I do try to keep my senses keen to my surroundings as far as unsavory looking folks, look for exits in places I go, ect...not paranoid, just aware. I'm glad to know that there are many people just like me doing the same.

Re: Can a CHL enter school as first responder?

Wish there was something a concealed carry holder could have on his/her person out of sight that could be slipped on (maybe a bright colored arm band for instance) if he or she was to enter a situation like this. Might at least alert a LEO at cause him or her to not shoot 1st and ask later. I'm sur...

Re: Kahr CM9

My plastic should arrive anyday now. I have been practicing with my new G19 Gen 4 for few months. I like it, shoot it very well. Picked up a new CW9 few weeks ago and took it for first time last weekend....totally feel in love with it. As much as I liked my G19(still do), pretty sure the CW9 will be...

Re: Can a CHL enter school as first responder?

I sat through a seminar about schools & active shooters, pretty good information given. One of the topics sorts touched on this. The LEO said if a civilian were to obtain or carry in an incident like this, you better not have a weapon in your hand when the cavalry arrives. When they show up, the...

Re: Jan 15 - San Antonio Homeowner Shoots 2 Burglars

I know we are not aware of all the details, but from what I learned in my CHL class, shooting the BG as he was trying to get away may put the victim in a potential hard spot "Pemberton then fired at the second man twice as he tried to get away in a Dodge Neon. The man, 37, drove a short distanc...
