Actually, this does NOT have the really offensive language of Senator Carona's amendment to HB 508. It addresses carry by certain officers of the court but does NOT include state or federal legislators. I think that was the problem with the language that killed HB 508. I don't think many had much objection to prosecutors, judges and the like carrying.
