Location of signs at movie theater
So I met some friends last Saturday at the UA Cinema on LBJ in Dallas to see Dunkirk and noticed their 30-07 sign on the right set of doors as I went in. I thought I was good to go. Saw the movie, then when we were in the parking lot after the show I happened to look back at the front of the buildin...

Re: Carrying an empty holster
I'm a high school teacher and I sometimes wear my kydex holster to school under an untucked shirt on half days or when I'm working in my classroom on weekends or summers. I'm usually there for just a couple hours. No worries. It's just plastic, right?

Collin College Higher Education Center Trustee Board Room
So I'm wanting to attend the Allen Area Patriots meeting tonight, but it is being held at the Collin College Higher Education Center Trustee Board Room instead of a public venue. Is CCing a No-No? I have done some searches and get nothing but info about the college courses and general campus informa...

Re: CC in sweats/jogger shorts
I'm not a runner, but I do bike ride weekly. I have a CC fanny pack with my 1911, flashlight, LTC, extra mag and cell phone. When you're dressed for physical exercise nobody even notices the pack.

Re: Your gun is gonna just GO OFF!
The very reason I detest law makers who think that LTC holders can be trusted at 200,000 various places, but the moment when that LTC holder steps foot into a profession sport venue they will, somehow, go Postal and start shooting up the place. Look, either we can be trusted, or we can't . I resent ...

McKinney Goodwill now 30-07
Stopped by McKinney Goodwill today. I haven't been there in a long time because they were posted 06 & 07. Well today the only sign they had up was 30-07. The 06 has been removed. Wonder if they took a bigger hit than they initially realized.

If not flying (I usually check my 1911 in a TSA approved vault) I do carry my S&W M&P9 w/ three mags, extra boxes of ammo and my AR broken down in a Nike baseball bag, cleaning kit, 4 mags in the back of the van. If it can "Hit the Fan" while I'm at home, it could happen while I'm ...

Re: Even the City of Dallas doesn't claim the Zoo
We opted for the Ft. Worth Zoo. It was a wonderful day. They had both 30-06 and 30-07 signs posted at the entrance after you pay, but before you go in.

Even the City of Dallas doesn't claim the Zoo
Looked up two web sites to see results of Dallas area amusement parks. Out of a listing of 40 attractions the Dallas Zoo was not listed. I even went to the Dallas.com web site. Out of four pages of attractions, the Dallas Zoo was listed ZERO. NONE. Not on the list. Tells me everything I need to know...

Re: 30.06 sign but no 30.07
I have to disagree with the "take a ride" statement. If we are a society of laws, and we agree words mean what they say - these signs posted are Texas law created by our elected officials - and hence mean exactly what is intended and no more, then I see no reason why you can't legally OC. ...

Re: Signage posted at retired living
Most, if not all, are retired/elderly. He does not have LTC, but I visit every week or so. Would I be in violation if I go to his apartment, and I have his permission to carry? The residence is under his control, is it not?

Signage posted at retired living
Today I dropped off a friend at his apartment, which is a retirement living facility. It is not assisted living or a nursing home. But both 30-06 and 30-07 signs are recently posted at the entrance to the building. I can't imagine that this is legal because these are simply apartments. Can anyone he...

Now the montra has morphed from Assault Rifle to Assault Style Rifle. Good grief that could be just about any shoulder fired weapon.

I have been waiting for my Ariz. plastic to arrive for months. We leave tomorrow, July 3 for Las Vegas. Imagine my shock to see a green Navada that goes into effect today. Like they say, timing is everything. Drinks are on me! Wait. Think Arizona will reimburse my fee?
