Re: Printing the same as Failure To Conceal?

That'd be an expensive ride and Hotel bill. Bail Bondsman, Defense Attorney, towing/storage fee, and having the arrest expunged from your history could get costly.

Thanks for the comments.

Printing the same as Failure To Conceal?

I guess there is a blurred and fuzzy line dealing with printing. Is printing the same as Failure To Conceal? If unlawful, Is there a defense to the charge?

I don't remember that being discussed in the CHL classes.

Thanks,

Re: Disadvantage to having CHL

I just got back from and 8-day trip through Nevada, California, Oregon, and Washington. None of those states reciprocate with TX CHLs, so I did not even pack a firearm. A lot of our stops were in deserted remote areas. I felt very exposed Nice country, but I was relieved to get back in Texas I'm ki...

Re: Disadvantage to having CHL

I guess I'm being my usual thick headed self, but... The title of the thread has nothing to do with carrying. It has everything to do with having permission to do so. Following that track, although I have my license, it does bother me that I am on some sort of data base. The class portions that has ...

Re: 5.11 gear 20% off

I rec'd the same msg today. That was after I ordered some of the inside velcro pocket shirts yesterday.

Those are good shirts for travel. Passport, Boarding Pass, Crdit cards and some cash are kinda 'up front' and close to hand rather than in your wallet or hip pocket.

Re: WTS: P228 mags; 13rds XD40 mags, Comptac, DonHume, Fist

Got it. Fit is interchangable, but is the 229 mag any longer than the 228? I have a mag that 'fits' and functions in the 228 but is longer. I do not know if it is a 229, or not.

What are the difference with 228 and 229 mags?

Thanks,

Re: Latest Colt Snubnose Project

doc, Would a reduced mass hammer and a 'trigger job' be such a good idea? Granted, Colt and S&W have different lockwork. If the mass of the Colt hammer is reduced, what is left of my brain cells tell me that an extra power hammer spring would be called for. The 'spring kits' that I have noticed ...

Yessir, and its free. You aren't charged to use the search engine, Maps, Reverse look-up, etc. Maybe sometime in the future we'll get a hit on a debit card every time we access these services. For now though, its free. So where is the return?

Re: vpike.com - Find pix of your old house most sites in USA.

Same question again...Why?...Where is the Payback? A reliable vehicle is worth about 300.00 per month, add wages for the driver of about 2,000.00 per month. That is for one vehicle. You get the idea. That represents a substantiol investment. Where is the return?
