Re: AFTER the Wait is OVER

Finally did the Wally Walk!! Then did a Home Depot walk the next day.

Carried a Shield in the front pocket of my cargo shorts for the Wally Walk. For Home Depot, I carried the Shield in an hybrid IWB Foxx holster set at 4 o'clock. Using Federal HST 147 grain JHP.

Re: AFTER the Wait is OVER

Feels great to finally get my license!

I ordered two holsters from Amazon today. Amazon has a very good return policy. Both are OWB holsters. I figure that I'd give OWB holsters a try.

Re: AFTER the Wait is OVER

as of some new legislation... absolutely no problem... it's our job to conceal, but it's nothing serious if you happen to be 'made'.... unless you are in an unauthorized place. Thanks for the info. That's good to know. I'm still trying to figure out a holster that provides the best balance of conce...

Re: AFTER the Wait is OVER

If someone figures out someone is carrying, what's the repercussion from a legal standpoint, assuming its a place where carry is allowed?

Re: AFTER the Wait is OVER

I've had my CHL for a whole week, but haven't done the Wally Walk yet. Carried twice at night when walking the dog around the neighborhood, but not in a public places with people yet.

Re: FFL West Houston

I just received a transfer of a Smith Wesson MP15-22 MOE through Jaime at Defensive & Concealed Guns, Inc. The transfer went super smooth. Jaime called me as soon as UPS delivered the package from the seller. Jaime was professional and courteous. I had a chance to browse the pistols in stock at ...

Re: Recommendations for 1911 (under $1000)

Thanks for all the info everyone.

Looks like the Springfield 1911's got the most accolades. Strangely, most gun forums seem to dislike Springfield's striker fire XD and XDM pistols.

Re: April Application

I must have missed all the info in the DPS website that said we could submit the documents online/email as opposed to mailing it in. And definitely missed any info about not needing passport photos. The forms I downloaded from the DPS website specifically stated that two passport photos are necessary.
