Re: Removing "Shoulder or Belt" holster from SB17
I don't think the passage of this law has anything to do with your situation. If it's illegally exposed now, it will be with the new law as well. This isn't the open storage law. It's open carry. Carrying is "on or about your person" so I would argue that readily accessible right next to ...

Re: HB308
Not seeing any movement on this bill. I'm afraid it got lost in all the furor about campus carry and open carry. Exactly right!! So much political capital was spent on how we can carry (open-carry) as opposed to where we can carry (everywhere) that HB308 will not pass. That's a crying shame as it i...

I suspect the holster specification is more to prevent certain parties from attaching a holster to a MOLLE vest with the barrel horizontal, two thigh holsters, and a holster on each forearm, while carrying one in their hand... Who would be so retarded? Think about fat man and slim jim in the OCTC C...

Re: Removing "Shoulder or Belt" holster from SB17
Right. I'm guessing the legislature will likely do what they call a "clean up? amendment later, similar to what they did when amending the caliber specs for the CHL proficiency rules when they changed from .38 to .32 ,etc. In the captions, they used wording like, non-substantive changes for th...
