Re: Wife followed this morning to School

You are to be commended as well. Your wife learned something from you and had an awareness most moms do not use. I'm so relieved to hear it turned out so well.

Re: Donald Trump “take out their families”

Absolutely NOT! I would NEVER want anyone to have that kind of power to make that decision in the first place. If Trump really said this, then I will not vote for him. If he's after this kind of executive power that's just insane. If it is found in a court of law the family aided in any way the terr...

Laugh all you want, but home invasions with kids home alone are a fact.

Exactly what I thought when I watched it. And how she thinks she can shoot and walk away, wow.

Re: LadiesWhat's the best home security weapon

Everyone has given great advice for a weapon, but I'd like to suggest some tools for the kids as well. If your grandkids are old enough baseball bats are easy for them to handle as well as mace & a flashlight in strategic places. I hear of so many incidents with kids being home alone.

Re: Dealing with an overly friendly man

You are fighting your instincts. You are being nice and denying your alarms in order to rationalize this into some kind of normal explanation. Your friend asked you if you were in danger and you said no! She could see it in your eyes and demeanor. You really need to stop the denial and trust yoursel...

Re: Movie theater scenario, any tips?

Thank you for your responses and the link. I agree with the whole home entertainment idea, but sometimes you just feel the need to get out of the house. I've been telling hubby it's time for a new tv. Lol. Right2carry, I totally agree with the training and flashlight. The flashlight has already come...

Movie theater scenario, any tips?

We are seeing a trend on movie theater attacks by these unstable cowards. Does anyone have a link to share with movie theater scenario advice? We don't attend theaters that are 30.06, so at least we will have a chance to fight back. I'm wondering if sitting near an exit is even wise because the BG w...

Re: Would you speak up if you saw...

I have encountered this a couple of times. I saw two men in a restaurant and both had holstered revolvers on there belts. I wondered if they were law enforcement so I watched them to see if they had badges displayed and saw none. From their dress and demeanor I was fairly positive there were LEO's ...

I'm not going to freak out over seeing a gun  I just hate to see someone go down for an honest mistake. Maybe they're from Arizona or something... ;-)

Would you speak up if you saw...

Someone open carrying a side arm without a badge?

A friend saw someone carrying openly and did not say anything. My first reaction was why didn't you tell him it's not legal yet?! He said he'd rather mind his own business and carry on with his own...

What would you do?
