I've been in 3 states that open carry and when i saw anyone carrying the onlt thought that passed my mind is "gee, wish we could do that in Texas" Otherewise i never gave it a second thought. The only time I had a second thought was when in a large grocery in Colorado and passed a lady I a...

Re: 9mm ammo advice

Go to http://www.gunbot.net" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. They will give you current (within last hour) the cheapest source for every caliber for pistol or rifle. I usually find the cheapest WWB and order several hundred rounds. That way you are not running all over town ...

I don't know your budget, but I have 3" colt Defender with stainless slide and alloy body.you don't even know you're carrying sometimes. I like metal guns with hammers carried cocked and loaded. I've haven't bought a gun with a polymer frame in a while.

Re: Employee fired for having gun. Suing!

That's why when it is necessary to go to the office (I am one of the fortunate few who are able to work from home), the gun stays in the car while i conduct my business. Then it's back in it's holster and I'm on my way home. But if it's concealed, unless she told someone, it would be no one else's b...

I'm thinking about having one tattooed on my forearm, but I can't decide what color would stand out best. If some others would care to participate, I'm sure we could get a good rate!

Re: Doing the Speed Limit and Being Abused For It!

i've lived in Texas all my life. Ihave always tried to pull over to shoulder on 2 lane roads, AS A COURTESY. Now that I am in my sixties, I have found my reactions aren't as quick as when I was younger. Now if it's a wide shoulder or broad daylight I will still pull over, but if I am not comfortable...

Re: Another long-time pet died

Dogs make us better people. My wife and I have had many German Shepherds over the last 25 years and the loss of every one leaves a hole in our heart that is never filled. They have a love for you no matter what and want nothing more in life than to please you. I feel your loss.

I Highly recommend this instructor's belt. I got mine lined with velcro and a super tuck with velcro clips works great!

Re: Always carry spare mag?

Since my new carry holster is a "Texas Concealed Carry" by J.M. Bullard it has mag holder with the holster as one unit, I do carry extra mag. My EDC (Colt Defender) is 8+1. When I used to carry a SA XD9SC with16+1 in a Crossbreed super tuck, I never carried extra mag. I figured 17 was plen...

Re: A Badger Arrested

Why are we trying to determine if a guy is guilty or innocent based on newspaper article (if you believed the New York Times, Obama is greatest president ever). Like the guy said, he will have his day in court and the facts will come out. Then we can talk about abuse of CHL holders by LEO or if this...

On top of all this, he just sold a painting at auction for $100,000.00 to anonymous buyer. At least he can now pay his on legal fees and not pawn it off on the county.
