I'm going with a bored bomb squad member... until proved otherwise. But you could also very well be correct. How much training on how to make an IED was in Iraq over the last decade and a half?Abraham wrote:Did the 'unabomber' escape?
Or, is this possibly a 'unabomber' copy cat?
Or, as is quite possible, this is more Muslim terrorism?
After all, Austin is the Amsterdam of Texas with it's love of all things considered perverted by radical Islamists.
Things like a happy acceptance of homosexuality, the popularity of casual/recreational drug use, women not being forced to sport hijabs while not covering their heads all without peek-aboo veils too...and so forth.

That was the idea I don't smoke but it would be worth buying a pack just to give them the list.PitBoss wrote:And just to make it special, make sure it is an ATF agent...jason812 wrote:Since you're being held prisoner in your own home, get one of the agents to go shopping for you. All of our homes back up to the Barton Creek Greenbelt and I suppose they were giving it the eye. At 2 am my doorbell rings and it's the ATF and FBI. Going door to door interviewing residents. Said they would be back today to view security cam footage etc. We are not to try to leave as we would be turned back unless we have a police escort. Only one way in to our street. Oh well I didn't have anything planned anyway. Lived on this street for 20 years and so far its a very quiet area even though there are a few noisy liberals in the mix. Looking outside now at a group of FBI guys in the street.
Have a good day.
While that is true, it's way too early to blame the liberals on this. It maybe somebody from the bomb squad for all we know...Grundy1133 wrote:i can believe it... Austin has been infested with liberals from California. It's not even part of Texas anymore if you ask me...bblhd672 wrote:https://www.statesman.com/news/local/[abbreviated profanity deleted] ... bvdlO7cfK/
Hard to believe this is happening in Texas. Chicago, yes. Detroit, yes. Baltimore, yes. Not Austin.
Hope the people who are doing this are caught soon. Or at least have a premature detonation that takes them out.
