Re: Looking for 2400, DFW area
That is it. I have a rifle that uses it, and nothing else will really do. A pound will probably last me 6+ years at 11.8 gr/round, so not really worth haz mat fees to ship online.

Re: Grandpa's rusty shotgun

Take it to a reputable smith for a complete reblue. Then treat everything with reniasance (sp?) Wax and store ...

The bill is not costing the State. The bill is costing the citizens. That money does not belong to the State until a fee is paid.

Re: I am looking for a skilled reloader
I would suggest having the bullets turned on a lathe rather than cast. If it is only for a display and no powder, simply have the bullets turned a few thousandths undersized and insert in the cases.

Re: Lubricant in the barrel of a revolver?
On the topic of barrel lube. I have shot .38 wadcutters, home cast and lubed with a soft beeswa, based lube, until lube was dripping from the end of the barrel. No harm.

Re: Lubricant in the barrel of a revolver?
Oil In the chamber is bad because the case cannot grip the chamber walls, in any firearm. Shouldn't matter, as the cartridge being fired is back against the breech face. The seal is that of case expansion, achieved by chamber dimensions, not oil or a lack there of. In revolvers, but the OP also men...

Oil in the barrel might affect accuracy in target shooting, but not enough for sd. In salty coastal areas, it may be a necessity.
