Re: US Amry wants to bring back the Battle Rifle

Unless the enemy are using Mossion Nagant rifles, nobody is using the 7.62x54R cartridge.

Re: What kind of firearm is this

If English, it would have to have a proof mark. Unless a starter gun. Have you checked the barrel for rifling? The lach of markings also is curious for a firearm.

Re: Green/Red chamber

I have watched the guys who do quick draw with single action revolvers practice. Wax bullets and chaps, and the chaps have quite a few streaks of wax on them. Drawing any handgun when trying to use it quickly is inherently dangerous.

Re: MN: 65 YO man sentenced to life for killing two teenage burglers in his home

I see many layers here. Many sane people here have a plan for dealing with intruders in their home. I would give him a pass there. OP, if you have any second thoughts about your firearm, get another. A life threatening crisis will have enough second thoughts and doubts without adding doubts about your tools.

Re: Fix 30.06 & 30.07 Sign Requirements

My thought is that without 30.06, we would not have CC in TX at all. Businesses would have squashe'd it without a means to not have to deal with it directly. We had CC without 30.06 for one year and 9 months... And once businesses got their way out of participating, they directed their lobby money ...

My bad, mixed up feet and yards. I feel foolish, glad I did not do that at work on the construction site. Yes, about 8".
