Re: Best or Most Popular SD Ammo

I use 124gr +P Gold Dots. Federal HST, and Speer Gold Dots get recommended most in my experience on gun forums/pages.

Re: Red Dot Sights Co-Witness

I have a Canik TP9SFX with a Trijicon SRO on it. The mounting plate removes the rear sight on this model of gun. The front post is not visible with the red dot on it. With no available rear sight I didn't see the point of putting a taller front sight on. So I effectively run with no iron/back up at ...

Re: Baa

I suppose I take exception to the assumption by anyone that simply carrying a firearm somehow makes them less than a sheep. Having a firearm is not what determines ones ability to defend themselves. It is simply one way of defending yourself. But one can be armed and still be a sheep. Carrying a gu...

I also wonder how hard it would be to put a picatinny rail on the top of the receiver. Wouldn't mind tossing an aimpoint micro on one for a brush gun.

Re: IN: CHL wrestling with 4 year old son ND shoots both in head, son dies

EDITED TO ADD THE WORD accidentally FOR CLARITY. The gun fell and went off? Really, that's the one they're going with? A little kid is dead, and that's what they're going with? Please, someone who is an expert, tell me when the last handgun that wasn't drop-safe under most conditions (to include a ...

You can try GT Distributors on Perimeter Ln in Dallas. Near the Northwest Highway and Shiloh intersection. They are an authorized Glock dealer.

I know CAP is Combat Air Patrol, I know BB is for battleships, but don't know what it actually stands for.

I have a digital copy of the movie that I put on, and jump to that scene, and then turn it off.

Imagine if we didn't have to build our battleships to fit the Panama canal.

Re: Running weapon serial # during a traffic stop?

Hmmm wonder what would happen if I was carrying my AR15 Ghost Pistol with no serial number? :headscratch :headscratch :headscratch Not saying that I have one but if I did... Yeah, what's the deal if you have a firearm that has no serial #? Just asking for a friend … You can get 80% Glock lowers, do...

Have you called the campaign? They might be willing to let you have it. You are under no obligation to volunteer why you want it. If you want to be on the safe side, record the call.

Re: WD40

Here are some articles that might help as well. Looking at the corrosion test on the dayattherange site, wiping everything down with WD40 would be pretty good for long term storage. Definitely better cleaners, and lubes out there though. Just because you can get a job done with a tool doesn't mean i...
