Unrestricted Carry For LTC - What Would You Be Willing To Give Up?
I'm personally not a huge fan or locking my gun in my car when I enter a 30.06 or other gun free zone. I cannot for the life of me understand why some people believe that a gun is safer in an unattended vehicle rather than on the person of a responsible citizen. I've had two friends have their cars ...

Re: Texas State Fair
The family and I went to the fair this morning as it opened. I was carrying my holstered pistol in my right pocket as I walked up to get wanded. The guy lazily wanded my front waste and left side, never really even wanded my right side. My keys and cell phone were in my left pocket and the wand beep...

If everything occurred as it's being portrayed, that officer will probably go down for manslaughter.

Re: HPB Response To My Email
Oh no doubt it's a prewritten response. Just surprised they didn't get the facts straight in it. They have not in fact had a policy against this in the past. Maybe for employees, but never customers.

Re: Both signs at McKinney Half Price Books
I did the same, wrote corporate a polite letter on Saturday. Like the poster above me said, I also pointed out that HPB has allowed concealed carry for 20 years without incident. Possibly hundreds of thousands of armed visitors in their Texas stores during that time, all paying good money. I suggest...

Re: SC: 13 year old stands his ground gets in shootout with 2 BG
Would like to know what the "moms demanding action for gun sense" think about this. If they had their way, it's possible that a mother would be without her 13 year old son tonight.

Re: Disappointing news from Endeavor Real Estate
This issue was brought up in another thread earlier this month as well. http://www.texaschlforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=81020&p=1030942#p1030942 One guy brought up the point that your office is considered under your control, therefore any signs on the building my not be of concern to you. I...

Re: Flying with holsters
C'mon, flying with holsters attached to yourself is simply asking for some dweeb in a minor official capacity to give you grief. Do your really want that? This kind of attention isn't a good thing... However, if you admire oct... I would never do that. However, I would like to watch someone I don't...

Flying with holsters
I will be doing some flying during Christmas break as my wife and I travel to Florida to visit family. I've got everything to meet TSA and AA requirements for checking a pistol, but I'm worried about my holsters. I've bringing several of them with me and I'm cautious about putting them in my checked...

Re: "Waiting Room"
Submitted my paper work via snail mail 11/10, I called 12/14 to check the status of my application. I was told I was approved and awaiting print that would take 10-12 days. The website changed on 12/15, received plastic in hand today 12/16. I'm not sure if I would have gotten it any sooner if I sub...
