Re: Interested in defensive shooting in Houston???
For those that wanted to give this a try, RDPC will suspend shooting till Sept 13th due to the Area 4 Championships occurring at this location.
I hope to see you there then.

Interested in defensive shooting in Houston???
Here is a defensive shooting club in SW Houston (Richmond/Rosenberg) area that shoot on Tuesday evenings @ 6 pm.

This is a great place to practice your skills. The problem with all indoor ranges is that they severely restrict your handling of firearms. We all want to shoot in a safe environment. RDPC operates a cold range that keeps firearms unloaded until you are instructed to 'load and make ready' which is not uncommon in shooting competitions. After that point you will be allowed to draw your loaded weapon and commence firing at targets as you walk the scenarios whether sitting in a stage car or walking the stage. After you shoot a few stages you will realize how unprepared most are in a true SD situation.
They also have a beginners class for learning proper gun handling procedures prior to walking the stages. This is where you can learn holster and un-holstering a loaded weapon which in not allowed and most other ranges.
This is a safe range where you can mingle with other like minded people!!!
