I'll eat an extra breakfast taco for you. Hope the diet works as needed. The Annoyed Man wrote:No, there isn't. It's just that I'm on a (doctor supervised) 500 calorie a day diet for the next 6 weeks, and until I get into the maintenance phase, I just don't need the temptation.Flightmare wrote:Nothing wrong with fellowship and coffee my friend. The Annoyed Man wrote:I won't be making this one. I'm currently on a pretty restricted diet right now, and although I'd love the fellowship, it would be too tempting to sit around smelling those smells and watching you guys eat those breakfast tacos, while I sip my little coffee.

Yes, just not first weekend in September cause the wife and I are in Florida then.Bitter Clinger wrote:We discussed putting together some private tactical training for the group, maybe as early as September at the police range in Prosper.
Do y'all want me to start working on that?

I've never seen the signs nor has any of the staff said anything when I've been OC, such as today.SA-TX wrote:I left without shooting. They are posted 30.06 and 30.07 as you drive in and at their office. WTH?!bblhd672 wrote:I shoot at that range, it has a $10 "membership" requirement for first visit. I've never seen it completely full where waiting was required. After rain it can be very muddy with standing water in places downrange. http://txgunrange.com/SA-TX wrote:Why didn't I think of that?bblhd672 wrote:Anyone interested in finding a range to do some shooting after breakfast? Aside from Alpine (which was discussed earlier) the only one I know of is on 287 between Mansfield and Midlothian. I've never shot there before so it's quality is unknown. It is on my way home, however, so I'm planning to check it out.

Re: DFW West/Southwest Quadrant Breakfast
Although I prefer a place that allows open carry for those who want to do so, a 30.07 posted place is okay with me as long as it doesn't cause anyone from attending.
I liked Rudy's for being open carry friendly, good food and we had plenty of quiet space that we could visit in.
Another consideration about popular "breakfast places" is they are probably all really busy on Saturday morning and won't like us taking up space visiting if customers are waiting to be seated.
