Re: Joe Xiden AKA Brandon- Not guilty by reason of mental disability

Following on to my last post about Bidenomics and how wonderful the economy is doing (per the state of the union address):

US jobless rate hits highest in two years
https://www.bbc.com/news/business-68514528
The jobless rate rose to 3.9%, up from 3.7% in January, even as employers added 275,000 jobs, the Labor Department said.

Its monthly report is being closely watched for clues into how the world's largest economy is absorbing the jump in borrowing costs since 2022.

Re: Joe Xiden AKA Brandon- Not guilty by reason of mental disability

State of the Union address, 2024...

From NPR:
President Biden used his State of the Union address Thursday to highlight economic progress, eight months ahead of an election which will test voters' confidence in his economic stewardship.

"I inherited an economy that was on the brink," Biden told a packed chamber at the U.S. Capitol. "Now our economy is the envy of the world."

Polls show many voters disapprove of Biden's handling of the economy, despite strong job gains, low unemployment and faster GDP growth than many forecasters had expected.
Some reality published by the New York Post about 7 hours before Brandon respected the American people enough to make them wait 28 minutes past the scheduled time to start talking:
Layoffs surged in February to highest level since 2009

The pace of job cuts by US employers accelerated in February, a sign the labor market is starting to deteriorate in the face of ongoing inflation and high interest rates.

That is according to a new report published Thursday by Challenger, Gray & Christmas, which found that companies planned 84,638 job cuts in February, a 3% increase from the previous month and a 9% jump from the same time last year.

It marked the highest layoff total for the month of February in data going back to 2009.

“As we navigate the start of 2024, we’re witnessing a persistent wave of layoffs. Businesses are aggressively slashing costs and embracing technological innovations, actions that are significantly reshaping staffing needs,” said Andy Challenger, senior vice president of Challenger, Gray & Christmas.

Don't know exactly where this might fit, topic-wise, but this video hosts the ever-lucid Victor Davis Hanson, and he does a good job summarizing what's happened during the Biden administration...and what we face next November.

Re: Joe Xiden AKA Brandon - Still raking in cash

Biden campaign brings in $42 million in January, touts 'historic' cash-on-hand
https://www.foxnews.com/politics/biden- ... -cash-hand
The Biden campaign raised more than $42 million in January and has $130 million in cash-on-hand--a figure President Biden’s re-election team is touting as "the highest total amassed by any Democratic candidate in history" at this point in the election cycle, Fox News Digital has learned.

The campaign has raised nearly $278 million since the president announced his run for a second term in April 2023.
In response, the president, while being led across the White House lawn toward the West Wing, said, "What? Yes, yes. It's very strong. Our campaign is remarkably strong. We raised over $42 billion in January. President Harris and I are very confident. American's are confident.

"The American people know that we're supporting Mexico in its fight against the Russian invasion, and we're convincing Israel to be more thoughtful and cautious in its response to Ukraine. People say that inflation has gone up more than 19% since I took office, but that's as wrong as Corn Pop's pomade hairstyle. It's only been 3.2%. Check the numbers. The lowest of any presidential administration. Ever. They just told me so. And today I relieved 150 million student loan debts. The American economy has never been stronger."

At that point the president turned to his Secret Service escort. "Where's Hunter? I thought Hunter was here. Is Jill at home? Where's Kamala? Is she at the border again? Has Margaret Thatcher called me back yet?" His escort then surrounded him and moved the president more rapidly toward the White House.

Re: Joe Xiden AKA Brandon- Not guilty by reason of mental disability

White House rules out cognitive test for Biden’s upcoming physical, saying he’s ‘sharp’
https://www.post-gazette.com/news/polit ... 2402130082
President Joe Biden’s annual doctor’s physical is coming up soon, but it won’t include a cognitive test for the 81-year-old democrat seeking a second term.

As Fox News reports, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters Monday the mental acuity exam isn’t necessary, as determined by Mr. Biden’s physician, Dr. Kevin O’Connor.

Rather, Ms. Jean-Pierre said the doctor believes Mr. Biden proves his cognitive ability “every day [in] how he operates and how he thinks,” the Fox report stated....

Since Mr. Hur’s report was released last week [special counsel Robert Hur’s report indicating Mr. Biden’s “poor memory” and calling him a “well-meaning elderly man” who couldn’t be successfully prosecuted in the classified documents case due to his mental decline], subsequent polls have shown 86% of Americans believe Mr. Biden is too old to serve another term. This, according to an ABC/Ipsos released Sunday. The same survey found 73% of Democrats who responded also deemed Mr. Biden too old for four more years in office, when he would turn age 86.

Despite all this, Ms. Jean-Pierre was steadfast in sticking with Dr. O’Connor’s determination to dispense with a cognitive test for Mr. Biden ahead of the upcoming election on Nov. 5. The same physician also declined to give Mr. Biden a mental acuity test during last year’s exam.
Of course they won't give him a cognitive test. Never gonna happen. You don't test a 5-cent toy balloon to see if it will hold 50psi when you absolutely know it only holds slightly more than the 14.7psi of one atmosphere.

Engaged in illegal espionage.

Its over, he won't be the nominee.
The sad thing is that they are actually trying to dispute this report. They are now trying to discredit the special counsel report saying that this is politically motivated.
The sheer amount of videos of biden stumbling physically and mentally is damming enough to prove otherwise.

We have enough evidence to prove that those words in the report are 100% accurate.
And if you saw the press conference where Uncle Joe got all steamed at a reporter who talked about the special counsel's opinion of Joe's memory...a couple of minutes later the leader of the free world took another question and identified Egypt as Mexico and never caught his mistake.

Yes, folks, evidently Abdel Fattah El-Sisi is the President of Mexico. :banghead:

Re: Joe Xiden AKA Brandon- Too slow and too timid on Jan 6 protestors.

Things about the effective and efficient functioning of the Biden administration that ya just can't make up:

President Biden wasn't aware for days that Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin was hospitalized
https://abc13.com/defense-secretary-llo ... /14291671/
A U.S. official confirmed to ABC News that the White House did not learn about Austin's hospitalization until Thursday night -- three days after he was hospitalized on the night of New Year's Day for complications resulting from what was characterized as "a minor, elective procedure."

The surprise disclosure of Austin's hospitalization had raised questions inside and outside of government about why it was disclosed so late into his medical treatments at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.
...
A U.S. Department of Defense spokesperson confirmed Saturday that Austin remains hospitalized but had resumed his duties on Friday night.

Re: Joe Xiden AKA Brandon- Too slow and too timid on Jan 6 protestors.

Did anyone watch Uncle Joe's first campaign speech of the year yesterday? I caught several minutes of it...which were solely about the Terrible Orange Man and Extreme MAGA Republicans. Zippo about policies or accomplishments.

I turned it off as soon as--and I knew he would go there--he said the last time we heard things like what Trump and the Republicans were saying was in Nazi Germany. I kid you not. Look for replays on Fox News and YouTube.

Godwin's law: "As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1." But Uncle Joe pulled it out of the hat in his very first speech.

Re: Joe Xiden AKA Brandon - How to Respond to Crazy MAGA Nonsense

Posted a few hours ago by Fox News. This is pretty rich. First, Uncle Joe offers a sane missive to the nation at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade about how the country needs to stop being so divisive, how we can come together and not let partisan politics block conversation.

Then the very same morning, the Biden-Harris campaign posts on Twitter, "Your Handy Guide for Responding to Crazy MAGA Nonsense this Thanksgiving." :banghead:

That's okay. He'll still get a Christmas card from the Taliban this year. They are still extremely touched by his gift of so, so much U.S. military armament and so many vehicles. I hear the handwritten note inside the card will be, "We couldn't have done it without you, Joe!"

Time for Brandon to retire?

His birthday yesterday, 81, oldest President.

Now that every poll is showing him losing to Trump, these kind of stories are showing up, Saturday Night Live is even making jokes about him.

It appears the Dems have decide the writing is on the wall. Time for Newsom.
I believe the polls as of last week show Brandon losing to every Republican candidate still in the race. But I trust polls like I trust 2020.

Re: Joe Xiden AKA Brandon- “ who needs a weapon with a hundred rounds in the chamber”

While speaking at the Human Rights Campaign National Dinner on Saturday night, President Joe Biden pushed for an “assault weapons” ban and asked, “Who in God’s name needs a weapon with 100 rounds in the chamber?”

Biden did not provide an example of a gun that holds 100 rounds in the chamber, but simply added, “That weapon’s only meant for one thing…to kill people.”
That must be one of those semi-fully-mostly-automatic evil black guns with the shoulder thing that goes up, weighs as much as 10 moving boxes, uses three-foot-long magazine clips, has a stabilizing brace, and will vaporize you instantly into pink mist if you are hit, even a nick on the ear.

I mean, I don't show up at conferences, dinners, and on news videos lecturing about the history of Israel and Palestine. Because I know hardly anything about it.

So why is it that seemingly all anti-gun politicians never even bother to spend a couple of hours to get a basic clue about firearms and their operation. I mean, our country was founded by and on the right to keep and bear arms. Sheila Jackson Lee evidently thinks AR-15s are all machine guns and shoot .50 BMG rounds, and Biden thinks you can stuff more than exactly one round at a time into any chamber in any reasonably modern firearm.

Re: Joe Xiden AKA Brandon-Brandon builds a border wall in South Texas

Here's a little factoid you might want to have handy for those who, when the border crisis is mentioned, start bandying about Ellis Island and that our country was founded by immigrants and by its very nature supports immigration.

I have zero problem with the last part. Immigrants who come here legally I embrace and thank them for doing so.

But let's take a closer look at the scale of what we're dealing with currently. First, Ellis Island officially operated from January 1, 1892 until 1954. President Benjamin Harrison designated it in 1890 as the site of one of the first federal immigration stations. So it actually began processing immigrations earlier than 1892; let's call it 1891, meaning that it was in operation for 63 years.

How many immigrants were processed through Ellis Island during its 63 years of operation? A total of a little over 12 million.

Now let's consider how many U.S. Customs & Border Protection "enforcement encounters" have officially been reported along the border with Mexico. Note for comparison that fiscal year 2022 saw a 37.5% increase in encounters along the southern border, but encounters elsewhere were also up; the total across all of the CBP was up 27%.

Official numbers have not yet been released for September 2023, but it's almost a given that the southern border reached an all-time high number of monthly encounters. From a Reuters news article, "more than 142,000 migrants [had been encountered] at the U.S.-Mexico border in the first half of September." I'll estimate that as 260K for the totals below.

Joe Biden assumed office in January 2021, and here are the official number of "enforcement encounters" at the southern border:
  • 2012: 2,035,585
  • 2022: 2,579,067
  • 2023: 1,746,983 (with 3 months remaining)
  • TOTAL: 6,361,635
This administration has been in office for less than three years, and we have had official enforcement encounters with half the number of all people processed at Ellis Island during the span of its 63-year history.

As of May 2023, the best working estimates were, in addition to the processed and recorded encounters, "At least 1.5 million illegal immigrants identified as 'gotaways' have crossed the border under the Biden administration."

If we stay static at that 1.5 million number (though I'll wager it's closer to at least 2 million) we end up with about 7.8 million people.

In only 33 months, this administration has seen a number that's equivalent to 65% of all immigrants processed through Ellis Island in the 63 years of its operation from 1891 to 1954.
