Red's is a good place to go and as other have stated the staff is friendly and helpful. They also have an intro to firearms class (maybe not the name) that I'd recommend that is done by John at the north location.

IThe law, the media, the whole society discourage any heroic behavior and encourage the criminals, which is very disturbing. In my country, criminals, who have violated other people's rights first, get no right. Excuse the hair splitting but can we use "courageous behavior" instead of &qu...

Im glad that training alone worked for your children, but I still think that training coupled with reasonable efforts on the part of adults to keep the most extreme dangers away from children is by far the best choice. Take care =) You too, thanks for the courteous dialog and the best to you and yo...

Do you carry a knife for self defense, or perhaps some chemicals from under the sink thrown at the bad guy? No. Actually I do carry a knife for self defense sometimes. Guns are more dangerous than those items because a kid just picking on up can kill themself or someone else, if they pick it up wit...

Keeping guns locked up (or on your person, I would love to have a pediatrician add that part) when children are around is common sense and I do not think someone needs to be an expert to issue common sense advice. tallmike, law aside would you recommend this with your knives as well? This has alway...

These types of threads reinforce our satisfaction with our doctors, our kids doctor even supports our 'non-mainstream' choices and is intelligent enough to ask questions and realign his previously misguided thinking...too bad the AMA doesn't issue awards for common sense, I'd nominate him.

Why not (kidding here but read on)? Think about it, someone can create a google maps interface that has popups with the CHL holders, then criminals will know which neighborhoods to hit that don't have CHL holders so their only risk at that point are people with rifles or who don't have their CHLs. W...

New findings from FBI about cop attackers & their weapon

Did a little searching and didn't see where it had already been posted but could have missed it. New findings on how offenders train with, carry and deploy the weapons they use to attack police officers have emerged in a just-published, 5-year study by the FBI. Among other things, the data reveal th...

Not sure if it is just the two boxes of Monarch I bought but it seemed to produce a significant amount of smoke and muzzle flash compared to the WWB.
