Re: Reason to keep gun on your person, not in car.

One poster asked what would have happend had a CHL been nearby and shot the BG? The police would have bought you a steak dinner. Remember the use of deadly force is authorized in defense of third person when that person's life is in immenent danger. Wouldn't it still cost you your life savings to d...

Re: oh the poor poor sheeple...

the thing about it was it was trying to help him avoid the same problem the other guy had. i am in no fix, i spoke to the manager and was told i did the right thing, they are going to get on the other guy because he violated policy. if i had not asked the tech would have opened the trunk and told a...

Re: Disarmed AND unloaded by Pearland PD

05 Mustang GT, Silver with black racing stripes. I know its not unique, but less common than the sebring I drove for years. Never got stopped in that car. Personally speaking, I think I'd buy a Toyota Camry for late night driving and forego the frequent "visits" with LEO's, saving your ti...

He also said that there are practical concerns from a law enforcement perspective: If you're responding to the scene of a shooting, how do you sort out who is the bad guy and who is the heroic student with a permit? Easy Answer: Given CHL carry on campus is permitted, by the time he arrives , the g...

Re: Accidental Discharge... Poor Mattress

 For those of us with " safeties " on our guns, I think flickin' off the safety is part of the grip. mebbe it's just me... Goes for de-cockers, too. My BDA has a de-cocker, and I have never given it a second thought carrying one in the chamber, with de-cocker activated. If I don't h...

Does it come in pink? "rlol" :rolll Seriously, I like it, but it would only work in the winter here, because you'd die wearing a terry cloth undershirt in the Texas heat! It is a great sign that mfg.'s are thinking out of the box about different ways to carry. That's a good thing! :thumbs2:

Re: Threat recognition test

OK, so what does it tell us other than the fact that we more readily recognize a gun in the hand than any of the other objects? I have to wonder if there were equal numbers of blacks as whites, kneeling, standing, soda cans, wallets, cell phones, etc.? There are far too many variables and far too fe...

Ouch!! I do know just how much that hurts! You are in my prayers, and your family as well. I have a LOT of back and leg pain. If it is from a muscle spasm, you can drink an alcohol beverage ... doesn't matter what, and I couldn't advise, as I don't know a lot about them, but DH will buy me one, if I...

Re: strange incident

You get this sort of thing at Garage Sales, too. I've had more than one lady come to my garage sales and ask to use my restroom. I always say it's out of order. It is, except for family. ;-) Then, she always comes back and points to someone leaving and says that they are stealing something from me. ...
