Just became an NRA Lifer!!

Due to all the craziness going on and these socialist companies cutting ties with the NRA I thought it my duty to step up to Lifetime Membership. And yes, I’ve been “thanking” those companies for influencing my decision, especially to NOT use their services!!

A blast from the past! I still haven’t found a comparable .223 ballistic tip round. Anyone have suggestions?

Re: Interesting Non Car Buying Experience

To the OP: buying cars can be a pain in the rear, for sure!

My VP and I have bought 4 cars total from Jason Foshea at Classic Chevy/Thompson Fleet in the last few weeks. He’s straight up and does not play games. If you’d like me to make the intro send me a PM.

Re: Retirement grows closer

TAM - that is very cool what you ARE doing and what your PLAN on doing! On the travel trailer/RV - try renting both larger trailers (if you can) and RVs (you can definitely rent Class A). My parents are down *right* on the Rio Grande in Brownsville for the next few weeks in their coach. They LOVE it...

Re: Switzerland named No. 1 country to live in

I typically go to Switzerland once a year for business, got lucky last year, went twice. Such a beautiful place! Really pricey though. Last year was my first time to end up in the southern part - Locarno...near Italy...WOW! Loved it! Cannot comment on living there but I always do have fun and enjoy ...

Re: Retirement grows closer

My Dad is 76 - he has had the means to retire for quite some time but he is Typa A / GO GETTER all the way. In other words, the day he retires may be the day he passes away. He has built an amazing business that his Dad, my Grandfather, started. I would *love* for my Dad to retire but I'd rather hav...

Re: Self driving vehicles creep me out. How will feds mandate purchases?

Think pilots of planes used auto-pilot or captains of ships? Pssssst, they do... I've used it while at sea (more for comfort than anything, I've always still been at the helm, easier to use that than making constant course corrections due to wind, current, ,waves, etc.)...however, a bit different t...

Re: Self driving vehicles creep me out. How will feds mandate purchases?

It's quite simple....Feds pass "The Motor Law"...reminds me of a certain song from a Canadian band...."Red Barchetta." My view: "They can have my human-driving, petrol-burning noise machine/hot rod when they pry the steering wheel from my cold, dead hands!!!" I've drive...

Re: Motor homes

TAM: check the Jeep’s owner manual regarding flat towing, it will have very specific info for being flat-towed. Usually the “Tow” button is for that vehicle towing a trailer.

Re: Motor homes

Wife and I returned a month ago from a 22 day Racing/working trip at Indy and Milwaukee. We were in our Tiffin Phaeton the whole time, dragging the 33’ Race trailer along the way. That’s the longest RV trip we’ve done. I love our coach but I was REALLY glad to get back home, even if only for a few d...

Re: Advice/Input on Making a Supply Run to Houston

I appreciate everyone's help/input - after communicating with TAM's fine son last night we decided it might be best to regroup on this a little later. The last thing I want to do is become stranded somewhere and then take additional resources because of it. I know the misery will continue for awhile...
