Re: Two Iraqis and a Guatemalan attempt to buy 4 M249 SAWs from DFW Gun Store
Belt fed...drooooooool....!! I've got a Lage MAX11-15 (it's essentially an AR-15 upper for my M-11 9mm from Lage Mfg....so now it's a select-fire AR-15, it's the M-11 lower that's the NFA item) and I've heard of possible (maybe?) availability of belt fed uppers that would mate with the M-11 and othe...

Re: Grapevine - Gun Range
TGE is really nice and super friendly every time I go, I was actually there a couple of days ago to shoot but they were too busy (40 minute wait). I bought a pistol instead, and they threw in a couple of free mags :thumbs2: It's not cheap, and it's busy, but I like it. In your experience - which da...

Re: Grapevine - Gun Range
I've visited TGE in Grapevine a few times (they are a few blocks from my office, I could almost walk there if I was really motivated :biggrinjester: ) and have bought some things from them. It's a REALLY nice store and my interactions with staff have been very good so far. Ammo seemed pricier than n...

Re: Some interesting firearms rumored to be for sale
SWEEEEEET!!! Now if only I had enough land to "run" a tank on... :biggrinjester: Butt seriously, I'm supposed to be looking at a HMMVW to purchase this week...sadly, nothing firearms-related comes with it...but it does have a nice pintle hitch...it could tow some serious howitzer action......

Re: Legal thoughts
Had a nice chat with my neighbors several years ago, right after moving into our new place....it went along the lines of "yeah, if anyone ever tries to start an HOA here it will be met with resistance...we will not be 'joining' it"....it was actually a little more colorful than that, use y...

Re: TSA Seizes Record Number Of Guns At Airport Security Checkpoints
I think the next question is: "How many actually go through?"
I think I recall a member here mentioning that he accidentally carried through (without detection)...

Re: Electronic Shooting Ear Buds
A buddy of mine does custom ear molds (I've got a set of them with speakers wired into my racing helmet comm system). I just had him take the impressions for a set of passive (ie - no electronics) ear molds for shooting (they have a filter for the loud stuff). I'll let you know how they work once I ...

Re: Opinions on AR- or AK-format Semiauto Shotguns?
I've got a Citadel BR99 12 ga. The pic shows it with the 10 round mag. I have yet to shoot it, I have cycled it / tested for function though. Hope to shoot it someday soon. :tiphat: The 10-rounder isn't tiny by any stretch of the imagination, but it seems reasonably manageable and swappable. You co...

Re: ‘Glock Switches’: Turning Hand Guns Into Machine Guns Becoming Popular Among Gangsters
The M11-9mm is quite fun to shoot in SMG mode! It's controllable if you're used to it. 1,200 RPM...WHEEE! I hear the new 50 round Shockwave mags are fun...
So, back to the Glock...I think it'd be a hoot to put in an MCX chassis (or similar)

Re: Armed Antifa at Roanoke’s drag show
Come to find out, I know a guy that lives in the building (apartments up top and retail/restaurants on the ground level) where this sewer is located. He saw the commotion outside and went out the backdoors...ran into four or 5 little anteeefa shrimps all kitted out in black, face coverings etc (5'4&...
