Re: Trump or Clinton--our own poll

I voted for SCOTUS appointments. . . . :iagree: I think there's about a 50/50 chance between Trump being and absolute disaster as president and him being just what we need. Hillary is 100% bad news. The Supreme Court Justices appointed by the next president will have huge effects on us long after m...

Re: Traveling Question

It is not legal to bring those mags into the state.

Before I knew that, I flew in and out of LAX with a pistol with 15-rd mags and no one paid any attention to the mags. That doesn't mean it'll always work, but I know I've gotten away with it.

Re: DPS Email Re: processing times

I submitted my renewal application on August 28th. I haven't heard anything from them. :waiting:
Starting to worry if it fell through the cracks somewhere. I do have the receipt I printed out.

EDIT: Nevermind. I posted that yesterday. It came in the mail today.

Re: First encounter. I hope there aren't more.

Here is the bigger question... Has everyone who has read this thread been given eternal written notice simply by reading the posts? Something to think about... And also makes about as much sense as what some of you are saying. :evil2: Reading the post is not notice to us. Written notice must be the...

Re: First encounter. I hope there aren't more.

You said she said " no guns allowed here". That's all she needs to say to give you notice. :iagree: The rest of the conversation is irrelevant. IMO, you have received verbal notice. If you're ever caught carrying there and for whatever reason the cops are called, and it goes to court, tha...

Re: Uber bans firearms of all types

1. I didn't know what an Uber was until reading the article. Still wasn't real clear whether it was a taxi company or rental car agency or what until I read comments in this thread that clarified it. Obviously Uber does not play a critical role in my life. 2. Knowing their stance, I will attempt to ...

And can not be intentionally aimed at the eyes. I guess this is only to mark them so that police may identify them later.

Glad I have no reason to go to England.

Re: Question about sale to someone living in Texas, but no T

Probably easiest to wait on the DL. But he can show residence by bringing in bills in his name sent to his Texas address. I think dealers typically require two months worth of bills, and two different bills. So last month and this month electric bill and cable bill, for example, in his name, all sen...

Re: Using CHL As ID

I did once by accident years ago. I went to the bank drive-through with my paycheck. I had already filled out the deposit slip with "less cash" getting some cash out of the check and depositing the rest. Have to show ID to get cash. I whipped up to the drive-through, grabbed the little tub...
