hey i took my class feb 2. i called them today and they said they sent me a letter about something to do with "taxes"!!?? Now if there was a problem with my taxes I would think the IRS would have already contacted me. SO somebody has the head where it don't belong!!!!

dang i just called them. they said they sent me a letter on the 23rd something about taxes? Man here we go the ride just got alot longer!!!!!!

My update. took class on feb 4th(missed the Superbowl who cares caught the last three minutes the best three) sent packet on the 5th DPS recieved on the 8th no pin by mail emailed sometime in late March got a pin As of yesterday April 24th statuse changed to Application Completed - license issued or...

i know the feeling. i sent my packet in on 2-4-08. i finally got my pin and now i kinda wish i hadn't. get really depressed when you keep checking and nothing changes. get ready for a loooooooooooooooooooonnnnnngggg wait.

man this sucks!! i mailed my application on 2-4 and am still waiting. per simone they are waiting on the background check. can't be that much there i can't be anymore boring!!!

ok i just got off the phone with "simone" at the dps office. according to her they are still waiting on the background check. Last email i got from her on march 18th said the same thing. now! i have a boring life. What is there that i don't know about? oh, wait! there was that one picture ...

just got back from the DAPS class. Learned alot, 1) i need a different gun 2) my shoulders are tired, 3) i suck at it, but other than that i had a blast. oh! did i mention i need a different gun. may be able to convince my other half of this!!

think they work on the working day principle. plus being the state there are all sorts of days off!

lunchbox i wouldn't be in a hurry to get it. i was and now i check it everyday, several times a day and get disappointed everytime.. if it ever changes i will probably keel over with a heart attack.

i am at the point where i wished they hadn't sent me the pin. keep checking and keep getting disappointed..
