Re: Suggestions for insurance to cover my firearms ??
I use them for firearms and collectibles and have been very happy. I have not had to turn in a claim but the reviews online seem to be positive.

I have Ruger Vaquero in 357 too. It is one of my favorites to go to the range with also. It slows you down and is just fun to shoot.

They use to do the same thing back in the day at the grocery store. Like others have said, I am sure it is just the register doing the math to make sure you are of age.

Re: Shooting Steel Targets
My daughter and I were at PSC shooting steel and she had some back scatter hit her in the forehead and make a small cut. That was at the 10 yard line. So it can happen. I made it a point to stress eye protection that day.
Thank goodness it did not scare her from shooting.

Re: Visited a customer today with gun buster signs and interesting conversation
You can thank the media for all this. I went though a long discussion with my business partner about not posting a 30.07 sign. He is pro gun and a CHL holder and he wanted to post a 30.07 sign???? He too just did not understand the laws. I said, let just see how it goes. If you see someone with a OC...

Re: Anyone Own a S&W Bodyguard w/CT Laser?
I have one and pocket carried for a while in a recluse holster. Laser is almost useless in the day time. The tigger is very very very long. I have since switch to a g43 for a pocket carry and will never go back to the BG. It will just sit in the safe.

IIRC believe they have to make some modification to go electronic to manual but manual to electronic they don't.

Re: Shot 100 rounds through Glock 43
I picked one up yesterday. $499.99 at Academy. Shot 50 rounds though it last night. Sweet shooting gun. It will be replacing my S&W Bodyguard 380 once my pocket holster comes in. Shoots very similar to my G30, which I love. Bodyguard trigger just sucks. It is a double action always trigger and s...

Re: NRA Gift Life Memberships
To go from annual to lifer the current "special" rate is $500. Not that does not mean with some smooth talking you might be able to get it for $300. I know someone was able to do that at the convention last year.

Re: NRA membership upgrade to Endowment.
Good for you. I upgrade to Endowment at the GRB show. I got on offer to upgrade to Patriot and will probably do that next month. I did get a NRA eagle statue, new card, and new certificate when I upgraded to Endowment. They are offering a jacket to upgrade to Patriot. They are also offering cheap up...

Re: Smith & Wesson M&P Bodyguard 380
I pocket carry the B&G 380 now. It is an OK gun. No issues so far. My only problem is the trigger pull is two days loooooooonnnnnnggggggg. Laser is useless in the outdoor daytime. I can't wait to try out the G42.

Re: Age ole .45 acp debate
I got a Ruger Vaquero in 357 a year ago. Almost got the 45LC but ammo just too steep. It is one of my favorite guns to shoot right now. Single action real slows down the amount of ammo I go through.
I do want to get a 1911 next though.
