Personal thoughts.
Every LEO that was on campus but didn't break in to the classroom and end the issue, should be fired.

I feel we all need to realize that the vast majority of Police Officers don't have the intestinal fortitude we as citizens expect them to have. I am not even a little bit surprised by this video. It is a perfect example of why we can never count on cops to save us in a real emergency situation.

Intestinal fortitude is one thing, but standing around waiting for kids to die would be one thing I could never do.

Very possibly true, but if I were standing there with a room full of children being shot and killed, I would charge into that room if all I had was a rock. My dying breath would be with my hands on that shooter. Those were kids! They were all cowards in my book. I don't care if the "man in charge" did say wait. There are times when being a man require one ignore the risks or consequences and ACT!

Uvalde is not far from Eagle Pass, which is a major entry point for smuggling drugs and illegals. I'm told by law enforcement in the valley that many Mexican cartel members live on this side of the border, and go to work in Mexico. There is lots going on and corruption isn't exactly unheard of.
