TN new law makes businesses liable

A new Tennessee law, effective July 1st, makes businesses that prohibit legal carry liable for all damages sustained if attacked on premises. I'm net testing! Texas should look at this before 2017. It may make some businesses pause before any posting.

I let my feet do the walking. All the anxiety over the law change got many upset.....and nobody sees anyone OC. Hopefully over time they will take the huge signs down. Until then not one dollar will they get from me.

Re: UT Campus Carry - Surprise!!

Hopefully someone will be able to change the no One in Pipe provision. In an active shooter situation, the Racking Sound will draw fire and result in many more deaths than accidental discharges would ever produce.

Re: U.S. Supreme Court rejects challenge to assault weapon ban

This Decision I'm concerned will embolden a number of other anti communities to pass similar legislation, resulting in a hodgepodge of jurisdictions that will make it very dangerous to drive through a State and accidentally find oneself in violation. Just imagine if Austin tried this..... It would c...

Re: KEEP THE LATCH LATCHED ON YOUR HOTEL DOOR!

Shortly after we were married, my wife and I went to NJ for a convention she was speaking at. Got in around 12:30 am and went to bed. No latch on door. We hear door open and Both Run Towards Door. Hotel had failed to update database, and re-rented room. The plus was confirmation that we are both She...

Well done Charles, et al. Thank you for your calm, and professional leadership. It takes a calm hand to navigate through the mine fields of a legislature. A Special Thanks to all legislators who Stood Up not for an Opinion......but for Our Constitution. The Second is just a part, but it sends a mess...

Re: Calling all CHLs who are also RVers

Great and funny comments/experiences. Why don't we let this topic mature for a few weeks so we can see how many of us are RVers, since most people are not on the Board every day. in the mean time maybe we can post some possible meet-up sites that are near a good range. Since Texas is such a Big Coun...

Calling all CHLs who are also RVers

How many of you also are RVers. If there are enough of us, maybe the moderators would allow a thread for us to discuss favorite parks, carrying while RVing, and maybe even arrange some meet-ups. What do you think?

I don't remember what the CHL instructor said during my training, but in my mind, I "heard" him say is that the only acceptable blood-alcohol level is 0.00.
