Re: Renewal notices?

Thanks y'all. I mean, they have our email addresses.... why for? LOL But hey, all's well. yes, I know I can't carry until I get the new plastic, but as they say, "Better you tell me when I didn't need to be told, than not tell me when I did."

Re: LTC Renewal

I just started a thread elsewhere... but I didn't get any notice that I was expiring. Had the wrong year in my head. My fault for not looking...but surprised I didn't get any form of a notice. not an email, not a letter... Is this everyone's experience on renewal?

Re: In n Out Burger VS Whataburger

In n Out fries are a crime against humanity. They've certainly been discussed at the Hague and should be considered a war crime. ***shudder*** The burgers are "ok."

Renewal notices?

For some reason I had 2019 in my head as the expire of my license. It wasn't. It expired in March 2018. Notice last night. Got it taken care of online this morning. But... No notice? I didn't get anything in the mail and I didn't get an email from the state. is that unusual?

Re: New Article: Stop Posting Unenforceable 30.06 Signs

I asked the event organizers about 3006 posting and they told me it was because it was a 51% location. I said then why does the website say this 30.06 and not 51%? Quite different. So they change the website. I'm still not certain about the validity of the 51% posting. I wasn't able to find it on TA...

How does it work at city festivals? I notice Lewisville Western days is posted. It's an outdoor event run by the city in city streets. Doesn't seem like that should be legal to post.

Re: Church carry

It's the fault of the state. If they would remove text instead of adding exceptions, the confusion would go away.

Re: Anybody else ride a MC?

ABS model? Mid range plan for me is to euro convert my FZ1 for around town, pick up a track bike, and get an ABS Connie for touring/2up. 2 of my coworkers are on the motors unit and have Connie's for their personal bikes. Yes, I have the ABS version. 2010 was the last year were it was an option. 20...

Re: Scenario question

Thanks. :) That's the point I'm trying to put across, but no matter what, he keeps insisting that it's his belief that the ACTION must be immediate. It's to the point of willful ignorance at this point, so I've done what I could...another guy from this forum has weighed in as well, and if he just ca...
