Re: 5 Officers Shot In Houston - Pray

The part of the warrant that says "to knock and announce their purpose by the officers executing this warrant would be ...dangerous" https://dementiasherpa.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/howsthatworkingoutforyou.jpg Well it looks like they're going to be able to bury it without an investi...

Re: Art Acevedo having another fever dream....

I think he's right. We do need more gun control. If those crooked cops didn't have guns, then the two citizens they killed would probably be alive now.

Re: Enhanced LTC

LTC holders have a lower criminal rate than LEO[...] I've seen this stated several times. Do you have any statistics to support it? I've looked but can't find anything clear. I want to be able to back it up when someone argues. Here is another source https://www.dailywire.com/news/8255/report-conce...

Re: Enhanced LTC

I think I know where many forum members are coming from. I, just like pretty much all others here, believe that every voter (and even non-voter alike) needs to be trained and educated on responsible voting. Plain and simple. Licenses are a way to ensure uniformity and a guarantee that each person h...

Re: HB 1169 - Gun Show Background Checks, Class A Misdemeanor

1. For licensed handgun carriers, background checks have already been done. The author/sponsors of this bill - likely Dimocrats (spelling intentional AND more accurate) are aware of this. But what it all fits into is the "back door" registration efforts on the part of these people. (2) As...

Re: HB 1177, SB 506 - Unlicensed Carry During State of Disaster

The part about additional authorization is nonsense. It basically makes the whole thing pointless.

Re: Cheesecake Factory 30.06

Could be loophole. Just set up a separate entity and have that entity hold the liquor license. I hope others don't figure this one out. This is why I've asked a few state reps to offer legislation to remove the 51% restriction. It is already illegal to carry while intoxicated. If I'm going to one o...

Re: HB 1166 - Fines for Signs Modifications

The "and occupied" part is bad. I don't care who is occupying it, no public property should ever have access restricted based on exercise of a recognized right.
