First letter I got from them demanded a 75 dollar penalty.

I refused. I ended settling for $275.
Sounds like the toll road authority needs to be beaten down a bit.

Looks like it's being scaled way back. I'm happy with that.

Re: Bonnen Walks out on GOP Dinner... had words with McNutt

several of the articles have him grabbing him by the collar, others grabbing him by the shoulder....so, yeh, assault.... All I saw before asking my question was that they shook hands and McNutt handed him an envelope that was already addressed to Bonnen. There are too many versions of the story out...

Re: Would you shoot?

Probably not. It isn't my fight, and I wouldn't know what led to what I stumbled over the middle of. I probably would make sure I was ready to drop every mfer involved, make sure I was way out of reach, yell that I'm calling the cops, and then call them. I'd hope they don't bring the situation to me...

Re: Bonnen Walks out on GOP Dinner... had words with McNutt

Depending on what you read and who you believe, he committed assault on McNutt before getting kicked out of the event. I am no Bonnen or McNutt fan. Did he really assault McNutt? I wasn't there, so don't take it as a first person account. But that description applies to some accounts, in my opinion...

Re: Speaker Bonnen's betrayal of Texas gun-owners

Below is an article posted on TexasFirearmsCoalition.com. I'll be releasing a podcast on this today or tomorrow. This betrayal by Bonnen is astounding and it better start an avalanche of complaints via email and phone calls. These need to go not only to Dennis Bonnen's office, but to everyone else ...

Not unless you can prove you don't speak English. Seriously though, if there is a big red 51% sign posted, it would behoove you not to be caught carrying. I have entered an establishment, and not seen any signs, until I was well inside the door, and they were posted above the bar area, of...

Re: Rodeo grounds

People need to start suing these venues that are illegally posted and start filing suits against any LEO's, Departments, and cities when officers enforce the unlawful postings. Hit them in the pocket book. There's no right to private action for illegally posting 30.06/30.07 signs, and no liability ...

Re: Matagorda 13 year old found safe.

It was a little bit irritating yesterday when one of my weather apps notified me of this young lady missing 'in my area', some 300 miles away. I’ve gotten amber alert from as far as 800 miles from here. I don’t mind as they may be headed for the boarder. With the amount of makeup this 13 was wearin...

https://www.click2houston.com/news/investigates/more-cases-linked-to-hpd-officer-at-center-of-deadly-botched-raid-dismissed More cases dismissed. Sad thing is that 90% of these cases probably are scumbags who need to be in prison. But you can't trust the evidence and the only just course of action ...
