Re: Thoughts on a NAA .22 Mag

I have owned a couple of these revolvers for several years. They were the first CHL guns I bought for myself and my wife back in the 90s. They are the NAA Black Widow model that feature the oversize grips and good sights. They are surprisingly accurate. Once I actually won a BUG side shoot at a USPS...

PSA: Deals on components at Reliant Show this weekend

Just a heads up that Dave Mosley from Magnum Materials (Nashville) will be back at the show this weekend. For those who have not been by his tables, they have some really great prices on components. With the election just around the corner, it may be a great time to stock up. He advises surplus powd...

Been sending a check every other payday since August and last week I upgraded to my membership Patron Life member.
This election scares the bejezzus out of me on so many levels.

Re: 9 mm 1911's

I have two....A full house custom Ed VandenBerg built ground up on a Caspian commander frame and slide and a SA "loaded" I finally found at the Reliant show after a two year hunt. Both are great shooters (especially the Capian custom) and so far have fed everything I have put through them ...

Re: Texas Judge: ‘Civil War’ If Obama Re-Elected

Personally I feel there is more of a chance of inner city riots if Obama loses than there is of a revolt if he wins. Conservatives are not know for strewing violence into the streets, the left is a different story....... Can you imagine if we were in another "hanging chad" situation and O...

Local Gun store owner supports ammo ban

The owner of Tactical Firearms in Katy, TX was on 740 AM this morning. He was in favor of the proposed ban on buying ammo over the net. He said something to the effect of " if it quiets down the anti-gun crowd for a while, I am all for it". What a tool! 1. Like filling up a bathtub with a ...

Re: Coworkers CHL brother stops armed robbery

Here in Houston, I run around in shorts and a tee shirt most of the time. Dressed as such, I find myself with a .380 loaded with PowerBall in my pocket holstered much of the time. I also wear a t shirt & (cargo) shorts frequently. But the shorts have belt loops, and I wear a gun belt, IWB holst...

Re: Coworkers CHL brother stops armed robbery

While I was not there and I thank God I have never had to personally fire a shot in anger........ I had some questions.....Although no question I think he did a great job! Re: Self Defense 20 gauge shells

I have the same set up. The tube is full of #4 Buck (not birdshot) and I have a nylon shell holder on the stock loaded with slugs. I bought all this ammo at Midway because I had trouble finding suitable SD rounds on the shelf locally.
