WTB: Left Hand Holster for Sig Mosquito

I have long searched for a subject holster (note: LEFT handed) for my daughter to use. Best I can tell, nobody makes one. If by any chance, someone has one or knows where I can get one, I'd be much obliged.

Thanks,
GH

Re: Need a texaschlforum.com iPhone application

I clicked on a link to a different forum on my iPhone and a page popped up telling me about Tapatalk. When I found out it existed, I immediately came to TCHLF to see if it worked here. After about 10 minutes of struggling with the small screen, I finally got the laptop up to finish the job. The prob...

Re: PSC 3 Gun Match

Tim if you need a shotgun you can use mine (Benelli M1) or I can bring a Mossberg 590A1pump. That's an offer that's hard to refuse. I do have 12 ga ammo. If I can get a Saturday pass, I'll be there. They've been hard to come by lately though (both kids in soccer at different places at overlapping t...

Re: Feedback: 2009 TexasCHLforum Day at PSC

My only feedback is that I wish we had a bay in which to discuss/introduce defensive rifles/carbines just as we have a defensive shotgun event. That's likely a 90-minute event if we could do it at all. Still, I think it might be a useful thing for many people. OK, I'll admit it, I just want an excu...

Re: PSC 3 Gun Match

If we have only pistol and rifle, is it possible to participate in what we can? My combat shotgun remains on the wish list.

Does the rifle need to have a sling?

Maybe someone could point me to the rules? Would this place be okay for getting my info?

Re: Pistol Safety Course--Friendswood, TX

I guess that I assumed that the women's program did not start at that basic of a level each month. Shame on me. I have encouraged choppedliver to go, but maybe having a friend in need will convince her to give it a try. I've heard nothing but good things about it. I think choppedliver started with t...

Re: Pretty in Pink -- What's available?

Smith & Wesson M&P can be had with a pink backstrap. They also make some revolvers with pink grips, as does Taurus and a few others. Someone (Charter Arms?) makes a revolver that has a pink anodized frame. I don't know if you're looking for another .22 for your 10-yr-old or if she's ready t...

Pretty in Pink -- What's available?

My 10 year old daughter is a 100% pink girl. All she wants is a pink Walther P22 to replace the green one we already have. I'd like to distract her with some choices that might be more useful than a pink copy of something she already has. I've seen a few scattered comments about pink gear and have s...

Pistol Safety Course--Friendswood, TX

I have two ladies that are looking for the most basic pistol safety class. These are brand-new to guns gals and want to know how they work, how to be safe with them and how to fire them. My wife (choppedliver) took a similar class at PSC many years ago and she highly recommends this first step. Does...

Re: Great Time at TexasCHLforum Day at PSC !

Tim Fisher (glockenhammer) was the Instructor for the 'shooting on the move' mini and he was a blast to learn from, knowledgeable and presented more than one option to suit any situation, great to learn from him also. I will take this mini again if offered in April!! Hope Tim instructs again also. ...

Re: I saw JBirds shoot a 1911 in competition!

I knew it would be best to let JBirds give the details.

I've got to give him credit...I only shot my 1911 in a classifier and never did give it a go in competition. I'm just glad that it now has a good home and gets carried daily rather than collecting dust in the safe.

I saw JBirds shoot a 1911 in competition!

A beautiful Springfield 1911 with target sights. Extremely accurate pistol.

JBirds told us that we were witnessing history--his first ever use of a 1911 in competition. It was really something to see!

Re: Summertime

I no longer wear any belt rig during summer. I used to, but field stripping a 1911 after every day of drenching it with perspiration gets old pretty fast. I also won't wear a belt rig if it's too hot to make also wearing an undershirt or T-shirt comfortable. My most common carry during summer in a ...

Re: CHL and Picking Up Relative At Airport

Agree with others that you're okay as long as you don't go through a metal detector.

When traveling, I use the "family restroom" to unload when departing and load up when arriving. You can lock the door and have your luggage with you.
