Re: ammo on sale

I saw a bunch of Federal 9 and 40 at Walmart this week. 9 was under $10 and 40 was under $14 for a box of 50. Cheaper than Monarch at Academy. :evil2:

Re: Rumors about future CHL classes?

The point is we have what we have. The license IS required. The class IS required. As long as we're required to do it, let's do it well. You make a good argument FOR an online class option. There are some good instructors out there but there are also some really, really, REALLY bad instructors out ...

Re: Teenagers First Gun

Just purchased a Walther P22, took it to range and really like it. Just want to get feedback cause my 2 16 year old daughters finally want to learn to shoot after years of begging them to learn. So give me your thoughts good and bad about this as a first gun. thanks all If you already have the P22 ...

His family is Palestinian.
He was opposed to the war on terror.
The FBI was warned about him six months ago.
His actions prove he would rather kill US soldiers than fight the Taliban.

But don't jump to conclusions.

If you're going to have a gun when you wear the suit, you should get fitted with it on. Otherwise it won't fit right.

Re: Town Hall Meetings for Naught?

I stayed up watching this last night and went to bed elated at the vote. I realized 220 members of Congress just voted themselves out of a job. That put a smile on my face. :patriot: How long will that smile last when you realize the DC tax thieves will get relected easily because they bought the v...

Re: Self Defense Shotgun Storage for Quick Access

If you just want to conceal it, you can mount a bracket on the wall behind your clothes. You can also drill some holes for a cable lock to protect the gun from smash and grab burglars when you're out of the house. If you want more security you should have a safe bolted to the floor or wall, because ...

Re: A disappointing State Fair episode 10-1-09

People got upset when I said "anti-gun Texans" so I won't say that.

Instead I'll ask you to think what the NAACP would say if the state fair wrote down the info of African Americans who go to the fair, or what the ADC would say if the state fair recorded info of women who wear the hijab.

Re: Friendswood: Attempted burglary arrest

It makes sense. Criminals are low lifes but they're not all stupid. I remember seeing stats that banks with easy escape, like near the freeway, are robbed more often.
