Re: Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22

Good to hear good things about this rifle. I wonder how it compares to a 22 conversion kit for a standard AR? If any of yall have experience with both, I'd love to hear the comparison. My question exactly. Also, what type of lowers do they have. Is it a standard .223/5.56 (and able to be converted ...

Re: Les Baer .264

I am in the same boat about not knowing balistics. My only answer is, because people will probably buy it just to say they have one. New cartiridges/guns don't come out everyday. Some folks (myself included at times) have to get the newest/baddest/coolest gear. That's my .02.

Re: Polling Place Question

Here's another little twist. Books-A-Million is a polling location in Abilene. That particular store is "in the mall." There are both exteral entrances to the store, as well as internal entrances from the mall itself. Is the ENTIRE MALL off limits, or just the store? Thank you.

Re: Safety On or Off?

Taurus 24/7 one in the pipe, safety on. Easy thumb motion to flick it off. Glock, one in the pipe, ready to go.

Newest member of the Glock family

I finally did it. After months of contemplating, tossing and turning, and countless trips to gun stores, I finally broke down and got a Glock 27 .40 cal. I did a little trading and got a good price on it so I'm pretty stoked. Now, if this rain will let up before Friday p.m. I'm gonna take her out to...

Re: Holy cow! IWB holster for this one?

It's probably just as easy to clean as, oh, say, a revolver? (just on a larger scale) Judge on 'roids. Looks cool. My motto is if you want it, can afford it, and it doesn't take food out of you/your families mouth, BUY IT.

Thanks for the link, Dan. If it shoots good this weekend, I'll probably order up a case or two.

PMC Bronze .223 ammo

Did a quick search for this and did not find anything, so forgive me if I overlooked. This stuff is on sale at my local Big 5 for $8.99 a box of 20. It is FMJ 55 grain. Didn't know if it is reliable ammo for plinking or if it is prone to issues. I'll be shooting it our of my AR. Thanks for your input.

annoyed man, I can imagine the .45 is a handful, especially if it is on the same (or similar size) frame. The backup .380 is a fun size.

Re: OMC Kurz .380 (9mm) Back Up

One other question, there are some differences looking at the AMT schematic and the actual OMC pistol (grip safety, slide/ejection port, regular safety). Do you know of a place to find OLDER schematics? I don't want to break down this pistol and not know how to get her back together properly (I can ...

OMC Kurz .380 (9mm) Back Up

Got a friend who picked this up in a trade. Did not have the owners manual. Does anybody know where to get an owners manual for one of these? I know OMC is out of business (and has been for a while) and AMT (i believe)is the current owner, but still can't find much. I'd even take emailed copies if s...
