Thank you Charles. We know you are working hard for theses bills and I thank you! :tiphat: We are playing the waiting game. We are watching the horizon, as difficult is it might be. :???:

This is worse than waiting in an oats field, next to a 3 acre stock pond, waiting for the doves to fly by. :totap:

Salty1 wrote:If I was stopped for OC'ing I would be very respectful to the officer and not have an attitude towards them and show them the requested identification then go on my way. The best thing we could do if faced with that situation is to be a good ambassador for the entire CHL program. I believe that most officers if treated respectfully will change their behavior after a few positive encounters.

IMO to get respect we have to show respect in a professional manor, remember this is going to be new for all of the LEO's out there as well. There will be a learning curve for the LEO's to become comfortable with the fact that guns are being carried openly which conflicts with their previous training.
:iagree: Well put Salty. My thoughts as well. Thank you.

It was sent to Calendars Committee on 04/15/2015. It's up to them to schedule it to the Floor of the House. Nail biting time.

Coming up later today, must be a glitch.
Bill hasn't failed the House by any means. Author of the bill requested postponement on voting on the bill to work out some details on an amendment. They are SUPPOSED to get to it today. I'm having my doubts they will have time. But wut does i know? :headscratch

Nothing like a public humiliation on the Floor of the Texas House of Representatives, to make him take a lonnnggggg introspective look! But I don't think it'll do much good.

No actually it says a peace officer can stop anyone determined to have a gun regardless of how it is carried, demand a license, and disarm them while doing so.
Yup. Read amendment to quickly. Thanks
