The Frisco Costco had that safe on the floor (well under a shelf on the floor) the last time I was in there (around Christmas) if you wanted to go take a look.
It looked nice, but I think if you buy online they'll drop it off at your house for you ;)

Re: Surrendered weapon after Motor Vehicle Accident
One other question, did you buy the firearm new? If you bought it used, could it possibly be that they ran the serial number and it shows up as questionable on belonging to someone that reported it stolen or maybe that person has an record? IANAL, but this is an illegal search in any case if I'm no...

Re: Bankruptcy Court in an office building?
If I'm in a federal building am I more likely to need to use my weapon in self defense or am I more likely to run into some hopped up on their own self opinion bureaucrat that would like nothing better than to ruin my life and send me to jail? I'm going to guess the latter... so I will leave my pist...

Re: Bankruptcy Court in an office building?
My client is not a federal agency. I guess there's a court renting space in the same building.

Bankruptcy Court in an office building?
Went to visit a client today and in the meeting they mentioned that there was a court on another floor of the building. No signage outside of the standard office building directory and a "No weapons allowed" in 1/2" letters on the door. I'm guessing this is a no carry zone. Intent of ...

Re: ATI FX Titan .45 Officer 1911?
I have a Rock Island 3.5" 1911 (tactical version that's a bit more expensive). Have 250 through it and have had zero issues. I put thin grips (and screws/lugs) from eBay on it and it's actually been a reasonably comfortable carry gun. My friend has a couple (and has owned a few more) Kimbers an...

Perhaps they need to calibrate their torque wrench
Anyone else hate the castle nuts? I've been using them forever on car suspensions and they invariably have issues and are a pita to deal with.

Re: Kholster vs. Crossbreed -- My thoughts
Just got in at the right time. They give people 10 days from when they say "buy" to receive the cash (yes, cash) and then it gets relisted. Check every day and you'll likely get one.

Kholster vs. Crossbreed -- My thoughts
OK, I have had a Kholster for about a month now and I carry my CZ82 @ ~3 oclock. I've been pretty happy with it, but getting it "just right" is tough some days. I've not tried to tuck around it yet though. I did combat cut it. Today I received my crossbreed from crossbreed seconds for my 3...

Re: WTB Looking for a new Daily Carry
P238s were $439 @ the gun show last weekend. Worth the $40 in your budget IMO considering how well they shoot (IMO, they shoot far better and more accurately than the others on your list). I was sorely tempted...

You should have posted this earlier :)
I ordered one for my CZ82 right after christmas (and it shipped late last week).
I think you can get some baseball glove conditioner to help reduce the squeaking.
I put the grips4u grips on mine.

I ran into this with the 609B I got a couple years ago on Black Friday. This pistol is a Brazil market. PT 640: http://www.taurusarmas.com.br/pistola-taurus-pt-640-40-12tiros-policia-forcasarmadas-colecionador-atirador-magistrado" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; PT 640 Pro: h...

Re: Mosin Nagant... school me, please
Get a butt sleeve. Looks ugly, but it makes a huge difference. And mine shoots really high as well. At 100y, I'm having to aim at mid chest to hit the head on a 17" target. But I was able to keep them all on the paper with iron sights and no sandbags. You can adjust the windage on the front sig...

Re: Garland gun range target of media smear campaign
They also instituted an full range cease fire. When I first started going the pistol range, rifle range, and shotgun range all could do separate cease fires. Kind of a pain now - sucks for the people on the pistol and shotgun ranges to have to wait for rifle people to make the 200 yd round trip. I ...
