Re: Driving to Michigan - have 1 main question

I use this app to great effect when traveling and planning trips: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ryan.ccw&hl=en_US Regularly updated on the most relevant laws for each state, reciprocity lists, etc. Apparently they have a free 2 year subscription then charge $1 a year for updates ...

Re: Man who died from knee to neck was from Texas

2. There seems to be too many incompetent officers these days wearing the badge. Hiring process must be scrutinized and training standards clearly have to go up. Incompetence is certainly an issue but I'd say there are a multitude of problems with law enforcement these days, from the lowest patrolm...

Re: Kent State 50 Years Ago - Four Dead in Ohio

If anyone ever tells you "Only the government should have guns", ask them to describe what the government did with guns at Kent State University on May 4, 1970. Ask them if they'd be okay with history repeating itself. Ask them if they want to rewrite the Second Amendment would they also ...

I didn't buy the Mantis, but got a G-Sight on Amazon for $39.00... I just use my tripod for my camera mount... You...

Re: China: their growing power in the world

The issues with the Mekong were brought up on the last episode of The Grand Tour (the former Top Gear host's new show). Interesting to see it from the surface. It looks like the USA is finally starting to realize the threat that China is.. the question is whether we have the fortitude to do anything...

Re: USACE seeking comment on revision to 36CFR327.13

When I'm stateside I spend most of my time at home, and at my RC flying field which is on ACOE land. It would be REALLY nice to finally be able to carry there, especially since we've had a couple of issues with people intentionally tearing up our runway.
