Wow, just the class I'm looking for. Only in the Fort Worth area. Anything like this in Fort Worth?

Re: Concealed Carry....... badge

Probably my fault the term "permit" was started on this thread. I used "permit" as this is what I have seen on the pictures of badges on this website, "Concealed Weapons Permit ." While we Texans are issued licenses, I don't really know what they are called in Nevada. A...

Re: Concealed Carry....... badge

I’m certainly no lawyer either. But it seems that if you displayed a badge that said, “Police Officer,” or “Sheriff’s Deputy” you maybe asking for trouble, but “Concealed Weapons Permit” certainly is not impersonating an officer of the law. Even if the badge were not merely “flashed” but actually al...

Re: Concealed Carry....... badge

Impersonating a police officer? I’ve never seen a sworn officer carry a badge that said “Concealed Weapons Permit.” And in the scenario, he doesn’t say anything, he just flashes the badge and keeps going about his business.

Re: How and best way to mail a rifle?

Whoever you use, try to find a customer service person at the manufacturer so you can send it to "Bill Smith" rather than "Winchester." I would not include the name of the manufacturer on any labeling.

Concealed Carry....... badge

I just finished reading the 55 page thread on the Eric Scott shooting in Nevada. I thought it more appropriate to play “what if” in a different thread. I know there were mistakes made on both sides. I also know that if I were confronted by Costco employees and called out about an exposed concealed w...

Re: Ft Worth Startlegram Article on "The Utah Problem"

Personally, I want to carry a Texas CHL. But if someone else wants to get the Utah version, more power to them. Don't ruin reciprocity!

The article refers to the Brady Campaign as, "the nation’s largest gun-safety group." What a crock, more like the nations largest gun-grabber group! :mad5

Re: Boxer - Common-Sense Concealed Firearms Act of 2011

This is likely an unconstitutional federal mandate to the states. Oh, you mean like the healthcare bill... That passed. Another Federal Government interference into States issues. Why do the politicians think that more gun laws would prevent a tragedy?... It’s about control, not prevention. It will...

Re: Obama will soon address gun-control - Chris Matthews, MS

I was thinking of selling one of my AR-15's, but I will probably wait to after our Dear Leader's speech. With any luck, he will say something dumb to pander to his liberal base, and the price of "assault rifles" will spike again. I would guess if he gets his way, the price will spike but ...
