Internet Purchases, FFL Transfers - Good or Bad Experience?

Thought I would start this thread and give folks a chance to chime in on their experiences with purchasing guns via the Internet. It seems like you can find some better deals if you're willing to spend a little time searching and doing some research up-front. Having just completed my first long-dist...

Re: Which IWB holster do you use during the summer time?

DM Bullard makes some great leather IWB holsters. I use his holsters & belts almost exclusively... doesn't hurt that he's a Texan located in Azle either! Really good stuff, I highly recommend his products. I have one of DM Bullard's holsters that I picked up from a forum member a while back and...

Re: Fried Chicken

Come on USA1. That's cruel! What is it? Chicken to die for? :smilelol5: Well, it's pretty tasty and served with waffles. But the neighborhood can be frightening for some who are not accustomed such areas. My routine is get in, don't make too much eye contact, and get out quick. Sounds like a...

Re: Fried Chicken

For franchise places, I vote for Popeye's Spicy. Is that Frenchy's place around Houston? I noticed you mentioned Michael Berry and I assume there isn't more than one of those guys around. Yes, apparently they have several places around Houston. The owner died recently and I guess that's what prompt...

Re: Tactical Firearms - My New Favorite Hangout

The only downside I see in the above review is " FFL transfers only $35 ". That seems like about the most expensive FFL transfer price I've seen, IMHO. SIA Getting to be something of a norm around these parts too. I've found they can vary quite a bit (from $20 up to $40) so it's worth sea...

Re: So I bought my first security camera *sigh*

The only way I would consider a wireless camera would be wireless interface to network (wi-fi) but wired for power. Those that are wireless for power (and video to a network interface point) operate on batt's and when they die, so does the feed. So, if anyone knows of a wi-fi signal, wired power wi...

Joe817, all you would need to do is put on a few more pounds... then the % of weight would be less and it wouldn't feel so bad. :)
