I have a springfield xd subcompact 9mm, less than a year old 100 rounds down the tube still have everything that came with it. Bought for my wife but she wanted a .380 instead. I have had a slim for about 3 months put a few hundred rounds through it no problem. Never a FTF or FTE. One thing that I hear from mist people is they take it right out of the box to the range. What sort of lens are you looking for, i.e. wide angle, super zoom, etc.
