I used to have a 70 series Colt Govt. model and it was great. Now Kimber has won my heart :) The SS HD 2 is my daily gun. Someday I hope to buy the 3" Eclipse model.

Sounds like they knew each other. Also there is much other info that we will never know about, typical news media.
+1 on the "should have shot him with a bigger gun" :)

I was also in Stephenville Saturday, but didn't get stopped and don't have HAM plates on my truck, but this got me to thinking. A family of radio operators or maybe just the ol man with call plates on more than one vehicle and he is following his wife somewhere in separate vehicles and they do somet...

I would NOT suggest a shoulder holster if the young-un may need to be carried. Been there, done that and won't again ! Spilling my HP on the
floor of a resturant while handing baby back to mom is very embarrasing :(

A good belt type or what the other folks have already suggested.

Thanks for all the info. The last trip to the range, she did much better with her stance. Now we are working on the concealed draw, becoming smooth and quick. After some practice, she has also improved tremendously on loading the double stack mags, still gets sore fingers though. Passing the CHL sho...

Lady stance for shooting

I'm posting this for a lady friend of mine that is not signed up on this forum and is learning to shoot my Browning HP. She plans (me thinks) to get the CHL soon and be safe. :) When shooting at the range, she has a tendency to arch her back after a few rounds. I don't think this is a gender specifi...

+1 with Txi and I would also add that you other CHL's should be able to withdraw your wallet or whatever you carry ID in without exposing your gun.
IMHO you should be able to do so without the officer seeing that you are armed !

Howdy there Longtooth, rest asured that both "Kims" will be with me on this trip :) I'll be doing some contract work at a radio station and don't plan to go to any bars, schools, courthouses or casinos. If we do have to go out to a transmitter site, those are sometimes in a bad hood. Thank...
